Tapping X Causing Submission

I mentioned this in another thread, but never saw any responses. I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue.

I play on PS4 and at least once a match, if I TAP x next to standing opponent, it triggers a submission move as if I held x, which I promise you I am not. It's very maddening.

I have to start remembering to use the directional pad when I tap x because that seems to eliminate the problem.
