Whats up funky? I'm just like you with NBA Live. It's a Love/Hate relationship. It does a LOT right, but just as much, if not more wrong. I'd suggest picking up 2k10. I'm having a LOT of fun with it. It has a LOT of flaws, but I'm hopeful that the patch will fix those flaws. It's not unplayable by any means. Kind of funny, I was gonna be a Live only guy this year, as I wasn't looking at 2k10 at ALL... but being the hoops head I am, the wife picked up 2k10 for me, and I'm having a blast with it.

It's a she... and the wife has already turned her into a princess who hates boy things, haha. But... while they are preparing for pageants, it will give dad a time for virtual bballing and OS.

She's cool with my gaming and bball season. Turned her into a basketball fan last year. She's already a football fan... so we're good to go now.

funk, what up brotha. I'm getting both, just like you thought. It's the only time of year I really buy games. And really the only time, other than reading, that I post anymore.

This may be the last year that I can get both, but the wife knows that I'll forever be buying at least one! lol

I actually like the PS3 controller over the 360 one. Just a matter of preference. I would never guess that you would be one to talk any trash .

That's what I have at the moment... I can't stand the controller, haha, and can't play online due to lack of headset. How can I play online, if I can't talk trash?

Hey brotha, life on the beat is tough at the moment. We're running a skeleton crew right now due to some retirements and other issues... very stressful times indeed. Other than going crazy and wearing myself ragged, things are going well. Getting ready to pick up a 360 to help relieve some stress, haha.

yeah, it was hell of a ballgame. In my opinion, ND just ran out of gas at the end. Thats the problem Brey will have only playing a 7 man rotation.

And could you give me Harangody's phone number? I need to call him and pretend I'm a pro scout and say its time for him to go pro.

Same to you Funky..............Yeah the Mrs and I are moving to Denver and will be heading out that way around the 8th of February. So , you guys will at least have a place to crash on the way to the Phoenix, Cali, and Vegas. The Irish looked really good, but it was Hawaii. My only thought, is that it bought Charlie another year, and Im scared its going to be the same bull****.

Hey man. Haha yeah I'm a big baseball junkie and I do own a PS3. I don't have The Show, however. I got this system during the summer and got GTA IV and Skate. Then school started and I really couldn't devote my time to gaming at all.

I'm looking forward to The Show '09... unless 2K9 beats it out, which is a big improbability at this point.

Here are the games that I currently own:

- GTA IV
- Skate
- SOCOM: Confrontation
- Rock Band 2
- Little Big Planet
- Uncharted (borrowing from friend)

Then I have like 50 Blu-ray movies.

I had a great Christmas, thanks! Hope you did too, and I also wish you a Happy New Year!

Wattup Funky, the Wife is in Denver as I type this visiting to see if she likes the corp. setting and the Denver area. She is flying out on the 5th of January to visit the Chicago facility, and I keep pushing for that are hard. I will know for sure in the next two weeks. I am pulling for Chicago, but I have a feeling it's Denver.

Hey at least you guys have a place to stay for the Vegas, Phoenix, and Cali race. Funky, If I don't talk to you before Christmas, you have a good one also Brother. You realize that once this Holiday season is over, it means only about 9 weeks until the 09 season starts up Bro.

Yessir. Diehard Cardinal fan. We are very passionate and I understand what you're saying about the support. Cubs-Cards is a great rivalry and should live on for a long time. Where did you live?

Yes Funky, I love fighting games, I grew up playing both of this two great games, and I downloaded the Street fighter from PSN store and Love, also MK vs DC is a treat, I love that game and can;t stop playing it, it is worth the 60 I aid for it. Get it you will not be disappointed.

Thanks bud. I hope it works out. If we moved to Austin, maybe I can transfer from UCLA to UT. Otherwise, I'd assume I'll have to stick out here for school until I'm done then go to Texas. That would kill me, because it's been me pushing the most to move out of the state.

Thanks, lol. As for Texas, yeah we've given it a bit more thought, especially after "recent events" regarding the political and economic landscape. We're looking at Dallas, Austin, and Houston. Austin is a liberal hotbed but maybe a suburb. It would be good for my Mom's work to go over there. I think my parents are actually considering it this time around. Hopefully!
