Rooting for 0-16

As a Dolphins fan, I was very happy when they won one game last year. Nobody wants to go winless and leave a horrible legacy behind. That kind of stink will linger around a franchise for a long time. But I think it’s necessary for the Lions to go winless. This kind of embarrassment may be the only way to usher in the necessary changes.

Early Morning Gamer

I've always been an early riser. Many times I crash early on the couch at night while watching TV with the wife. I always look forward to playing my next big game in NCAA '09 but often lack the energy or time to do it at night. That's why the 5 a.m. to 6 a.m. time slot has turned out to be a pretty good gaming time for me.

The BCS is Exciting

While 95% of people out there continually bash the BCS and pray for an 8 or 16 team playoff that won't happen any time soon, I'm enjoying the pleasure of teams fighting for the top two spots.

Is the BCS perfect? Nope. Strength of schedule is too weak in the current formula. Going undefeated in a weaker BCS conference might actually be less impressive than finishing with one loss in some of the bigger conferences, particularly those with conference championships.

Overrated: 2K5 and Madden '05

NFL 2K5 still has a ton of followers. For those that love that game and proclaim it every day to be the pinnacle of football gaming I'm happy for you. But you might not want to read any further.

2K5 is one of the most over-rated games I have ever seen. I don't even have to compare it to Madden to say this. After truly loving NFL 2K4, 2K5 took many steps backwards. I'm Still Loving NCAA Football

I still love playing this game and don't even care about any other games. Gaming time is limited so this gets all my attention. I'm in my 5th year with Colorado and am ranked #2 with an 11-0 record. I'd never won more than 10 games in my first four years and am 0-2 in the Big 12 Title game. I have Nebraska for my last game and then a rematch with Texas in the title game most likely.
