Ok that makes a lot of sense! Now could you select any players from the team you are replacing in the draft? Say I'm the Jags and I want Telvin Smith. Or would you save that for your free agent roster filling?
That's up to you, but personally I don't. I treat it like the team I'm replacing has been shut down, all the players have been released to go play elsewhere and I'm starting a brand new team. So if I'm replacing the Jaguars there's no Jaguars team anymore for me to choose players from if that makes sense.

That does make sense. I guess technically then you could be drafting them from the new teams that picked them up. But that would require assigning each individual player to a new team which would just pro-long the process.
I started an expansion team in Madden 15 (haven't gotten around to buying 16 yet...) replacing Minnesota Vikings. Here's my roster. As I always do, I kept all the Minnesota Vikings rookies from the previous draft (2014 draft). Mike Neal is the only player above OVR 75. The reason is that the Packers couldn't list 5 players that met all criteria and had to list one player above 75.
(EXP) = drafted in expansion draft
(R) = Rookie
(FA) = signed from free agency
The number after "() -" is the overall before it was adjusted by scheme. So i.e. "T.Bridgewater (R) - 82" means that he was drafted in the 2014 draft and his overall is 82.
Man you got to get m16... Huge huge difference from m15... Then is coming from someone who has been playing madden ever year and felt it started to suck after 2010. I see so much in m16 that looks and feels so organic

I'm gettin M16 as soon as I can, but for now I have to settle for M15. Never got to play it much last year so this is kind of like a new game for me.
Seriously man, dump madden 15 as soon as you can, it was pretty poor in my opinion especially gameplay, madden 16 gameplay is legit and all pro default is as good as it ever has been. I never really settled on my sliders for 15 just didn't like what I was seeing, took about 3 days to lock in for madden 16. which was a great .
Madden 16 also has sim a win feature so the Vikings can go 0-16 no problem first year.
