Re: OSFC-Daytona 500

Don't know if anyone has read my blog on the whole Jimmie Johnson, Chad Knauss deal. Remember that whole C post thing is still looming. But I'm wondering what do you guys think the penalty handed down from NASCAR tomorrow or Wednesday will be. Based off of Chad's past I think this is going to be big, I mean monumental big. I'm guessing Chad will be out 6-10 races he will be a lot lighter in the pocket book, and the 48 will loose a lot of owner/driver points.

And the sky's at Daytona have opened up again. Still hopeful to start on time though.

NASCAR: We have no choice but to push the race to Monday
FOX: That's fine, but we can't have it during the day. THINK OF THE RATINGS!!! OMG!!!
NASCAR: Don't people have TiVos or something like that now-a-days?
FOX: True, but we have to set it during a time where Perfect Zero can't watch it.
NASCAR: Monday night it is then.

if it has been untouched since last year like hendrick says, i could see i viable appeal here. as you know i'm not a hendrick guy, but it seems like he has a real valid argument.

But it's the same car that Knaus told Jimmie to wreck after the race at Talladega if he won, there is reasonable doubt there. The car failed inspection, the template is the same for every car, theirs is the only one that didn't fit, Chad has a long track record, to go along with that no team has ever won an appeal in the history of NASCAR odds are not in the 48 favor I say he has no argument.

Re: OSFC-Daytona 500

Glad it is taking place after my work day.

They should have no problem getting everything in place for this race and then next week..let's go Newman!!!!!!!!!!!!

Daytona means that I am down to a few weeks before I am back at the track every week..working for nothing and loving it .
