At this point I'm not all that worried about my survival - I think good guys are winning this game with or without me. I would like the individual win, but I don't see a reason to move a vote between one guy I lean towards distrust over to a guy I consider neutral in my reads.

The movement of another uncleared guy from candidate 1 to candidate 2 makes me think there is a decent chance we have either two villagers or two wolves in the mix. In which case it wouldn't matter what I do here.


As much as I don;t have a real bad feeling about you right now hoops, this post bothers the shit outta me for some reason. reading this feels like that scene in the mystery movie when they finally give away the bad guy. its creepy.

I see my name mentioned a lot in th eposts but not enough time to reply to them now. Had a brief couple minutes to look at the thread but have to go to another office shortly.

If I am still alive when I get back online I will try to give some defense to myself (not really sure what I need defended for accept my unvote of PB on day 1, though that was before the real mess started).

I will defend one thing that stood out, which is my playing style I guess. I was called out, again by heiz, for ruffling feathers early with some comments about a few players which I made in jest. I only mention 4 names with serious implication and the other posts were made jokingly (you need to shake the tree a little to see what falls out) but I never said that I truly suspect the people in those posts at that time. In this he keeps mentioning my calling out oliegirl, which I never did. I only made the joke vote on her for the Sex in the City thing but never intended on that vote remaining on her. She had no action on her at that time and was not in any danger (if that were the case I would not have made that vote).


Oh, one other thing. Not setting up for any kind of reveal. One thing that has been a pattern, other than always being on opposite sides as PB, is that I have either been a vanilla villager or the brutal. And neither would lend themselves to a reveal. ;)

we have more cleared villager than wolves left, even by the most pessimistic estimates, right? If so, we keep voting uncleared and win a prolonged game so long as we don't give them unnecessary villagers along the way. Like the bodyguard, for example.

for nighttime, we still have the bodyguard around to potentially avert a kill. We've seen a LOLcat avoid a night kill. It isn't 100% that the dogs get kitties at night.

We go into tomorrow with one more cleared person if the BG locks up Olie today. Even if we are down another kitty, we are up in terms of the ratio of known vs unknown. That isn't the case if we miss today and the dogs get a lynch tonight.

My line of thinking. Even if we missed today, we clear 2 people from the unknown list, assuming Olie survives the night. That gives us a MUCH better pool to look at tomorrow than a no lynch today.

This whole game, I've been placing my vote on one person, and switching it near the end -- the only exception was Day 2, where I decided I might as well switch to my top suspect once it became obvious he was getting lynched and there was no saving him. Also, I spent all of Day 3 grilling jeheinz, with my vote on someone else -- basically the same philosophy as I had Day 1.

Yeah, I'm starting to think the message was pretty vague -- fighting with two people probably just means there was a fight, and two people around the person. I'm assuming olie was the target. I know I wasn't involved, and I'm going to assume you weren't following KWhit, or else you would have said so in the first place. I'm starting to like the BG reveal more -- if that's a different person from who you followed, the person you followed is a wolf, so it's TOTALLY worth the reveal.

I'm still not impressed with the idea of anyone else revealing. Maybe I'm overthinking this though:

The unknown role(s) are the BG and the duke, I guess I'm stuck thinking the BG is pretty vital right now, but is it really?

If they both reveal, then we have at most 4 people left unknown and at most 3 dogs in those 4.

Someone with better math skills thans me sort that out, can we control the voting enough to hammer that out and still win with losing the roled players each night?

And based on what I've just read perhaps it is best if the BG stays hidden, it does at least add a point of confusion for the dogs to deal with that they wouldn't have if he comes out.

This game is going to be what I call a "Dark Matter" game basically this means that you players have the BARE minimum informatoin to start with and must learn as you go. So there will be very little info here beyond the bare essentials.

This would be what I was waiting for. Seolian is not the bodyguard. I am. I protected no one the first night as I was not around at deadline. I tried to protect Purduebrad night 2 because I had given him the benefit of the doubt during the vote.

I protected Olie last night and she was attacked by Kwhit *based on my PM* I was not told of anyone else that I blocked, only that I blocked Kwhit.

Cronin says he followed seolian and saw himfighting two people.

IF this is all true then WHY didn't *I* see a third party?

rather simple, my orders went in at like 10am. this schedule falls right in the middle of my nusiest time of day Olie, its not like I have the chance to be here through the morning every day. I put the order in early to make sure I GOT an order in instead of missing it like day 1.

PB got lynched, I got a msg saying PB is dead anyway.
