Can you say more about how the mechanic worked, beyond the auto wins, about who actually won a character if multiple people submitted?

Sure I will say I probably would do this differently if doing it again as it was probably too random, though I think it turned out ok anyway.

First off, attack always took precedent over interactions. Attacks had a 50% of success, but dealed 4 damage if not successful.

For interactions, each day, each character had a specific trait they looked for. For example, most HP, least HP, most missing health, weakest AP. Or a character related preference such as female character, male character, weakest character, strongest character, military type affiliations, evil character, etc...

Sauron (allowed a player to scan for a player's stats and abilities
Harry Potter (cast a spell)
Jack Bauer (bomb a target at night for 5 damage)

James Bond (can create a gadget to use for the next day. What it does depends on what gadget you create)
King Arthur (leadership ability, can lead another player and if you vote same as that player, their attack deals bonus damage)
Aragorn (bodyguard)
Dr. Mccoy (health potion)

No one picked James Bond, so that went to waste.

Chubby attacked me just to throw an attack on me to throw out a wolf on wolf vote. I intentionally helped kill cookie monster because I was pissed that cookie monster killed me. :) And it was only one damage so if anything it was another good wolf on wolf thing that might help either of us later. Unfortunately EF was the only one in the game doing vote analysis.

I took out muppets because I was totally ineffective in this game and didn't get to use any of my abilties (except maybe the hammer a couple times) and just wanted to kill SOMETHING effectively. Hence, MUPPETS MUST DIE! (Yes I've already apologized to Autumn! :) )

I was so pissed at myself for alowing the Hulk thing to spook me into changing off Jackal. I felt confident that Chubby was a wolf and was going to be all over him the next day; then I got killed. By that time I thought Jackal was the other wolf as well (thought was floundering between JAG and he at the time I moved the vote to Hulk). Then I looked at JAG again and he just looked more like an over-zealous villager than wolf.

Good game village.

I was surprised as well, about my night kill. I knew I was going to start getting votes. Really I just wasn't able to have the time to be in game, and so my game was off. JAG, I just couldn't tell about you, you didn't seem your normal villager self, but then again you usually ping me hard as a wolf, so I couldn't decide what that was about. I figured the wolves would keep me around. A couple stray votes my way and I would have been a free kill.

Hopefully I'll do better next game, I just got overwhelmed with work at this end.

Thanks I think I played this pretty well as a villager here. Not sure I was getting elected village seer while being a wolf good, but I felt good with my reads. I honestly just played it by ear and decided I wasn't buying excuses was just going with my gut. I was really surprised you guys let me go on as long as you did.

Great game Danny. I think I have been harder than anyone on you in the past when some of your games didn't balance well and I think I owe you an apology for that and huge props for a great and fun game here.

Yeah yesterday I was dead set on jackal which was weird in general because you had been pinging me for whatever reason. What sealed the deal for me was jackals pity post. I knew then he was the bad Guy. I even ignored his question that he posed to me. LOL

Nah, I'd rather have it end that than waste all day trying to convince people not to vote for me and die anyways.

As Danny already knows, I made the decision that we needed Jackal and myself to be able to win. I just didn't see us winning 1 on 1 which was why I pushed so hard to try and save Jackal when he had too many votes.

I originally submitted to kill Zinto last night but chnaged my mind when I came up with a good story to tell today:

I was going to argue that Zinto was the last wolf and that he had cleared BK to gain trust, then kept him in the game linking himself too him "we're either both wolves or neither are" before finally killing him when it was time to win the game (how else would you think BK stayed alive that long)

Who knows if it would have worked but I also thought I could stall since Grover had 3 HP and Oscar had 3 HP but 2 from his ability. I don't know who I would have killed tonight if I was still alive.

Cthulu- You have 1-5 attack value, 0 defense or hp; however you simply can’t be killed; however, you need your eternal slumber, so you are only in the game for 5 days. However each wolf that is found, adds 1 day to your life cycle. Using abilities tires you out and shortens your game length by 1 cycle per ability used.

You have one time use to instantly kill a player during the night phase(may be stopped by special abilities) Shortens your life span by one day


If I had tried to NK DV, would that have worked since I'd have been attacking him and not Cthulu? This question was why i never went after him

Cougarfreak- Goo, 1 Hp. 0 defense, 1 attack. Each night you replicate, gaining an additional goo which has 1 hp and 1 attack. This counts as a separate character that must be killed on its own. In addition, since you are so easy to kill day 1, you are immune from all day 1 damage.

Unless he randomed 5, you would have survived the day. Then it would have come down to nking Zinto or Mau for the win as Darth expires.

The only that really had a solid impact was the Hulk, and the village should have saw that coming. Hoops posted Hulk's exact abilities and stats day 2 and the villaege still decided to pile on Hulk knowing he had not attacked and it would be random.

LOL - I must admit that was a fairly random, and lucky as shit, scan. I am glad I was able to contribute to the winning team as I felt fairly distracted the rest of the time I was around. I was admittedly a bit overwhelmed with the amount of characters, but it was a fun mechanic.
