Realize, folks, that the community's belief in my reveal lasted for about 15 minutes. Convenient in that it allowed me to avoid a lynch on D1, yes. But you're getting scans!
And consider that this is my first game on this forum with a night-action villager role. It's hard to form opinions about my comparative behavior because there's no basis for comparison. And I'm defensive, I freely admit. But I've had my back to the wall since N1.
Maybe this is productive in the sense that the wolves are keeping me alive to allow you all to bark up the wrong tree, and that I get extra scans as a result. But come on. Let's move on, already.

Hvaen't had a chance to catch up, but here's my thinking, formulated over dinner. Other than lynch, we have no way to determine if Fontisian is in fact a Murderer. Her informer is dead and the only seer we have that we know of is Brit--and I wouldn't believe him if he scanned Font bad tomorrow.
However, Brit might be proven bad if his informer dies in the next few nights, or if he continues to scan/act in a suspect manner. So I think it makes more sense to lynch Font tonight, particularly since it forces Brit to make a bolder scan choice tomorrow.

brit - why scan zinto?
Here's his vote history:
D1 -- stuck vote on murray at 5:12pm to tie murray/brit at 5 with Chubby at 4
D2 -- voted Autumn at 7:23pm to create 4-way tie with Chubby, font, and bullet; moved bullet ahead of Chubby (7-6) at deadline
For reference, here's ntndeacon's:
D1 -- first to vote murray, 6:24pm Sunday; moved to brit at 4:55pm to make it brit-5/Chubby-4/murray-3 (broke 3-way tie)
I've spent two scans on people who 1) voted murrayyyyy after his (strange) reveal as the game started and 2) protected you with fairly late vote switches. They've both come back clean. At this point, I'm fairly sure you're no more than a tenacious villager who is suspicious of my behavior since my reveal. But you're sowing distrust of me among the rest of the village, which is really counterproductive.

Let me put it this way... I am probably on of the only ones that CAN'T be a wolf.
I am just mostly confused Brit made some good points and the conversation all day has been about Font.
Her informant is dead which I didn't fully understand (and still don't) if she could have been converted from that. I still don't trust Brit for reason said before... he is smart and as cunning as a wolf.

i am leaving my vote exactly where it is...we have had 2 people (lathum and font) come out and explain how their "scan"mechanic works, and one person (brit) that claims to also be a Big 6 guy, but with a completely different mechanic all together...i have a very hard time believing that CW would setup a villager role such as a true "seer" in a manner that he could be converted to a wolf!!
if that were to happen, how would the village catch any murderers?!
bottom line, i dont believe brit at all.

fontisian was Mrs White...she hated you all SO MUCH....FLAMES! HEAVING BREATHS! Yes...she killed him! She admits it! FLAMES!
Oh yeah. Mrs White had a 1 time night kill on any male character.
Night 3 has begun. ALL PLAYERS ARE NOW IN THE HOUSE.

So that is two of the Big6 that were murderers - both likely converts (not confirmed, but they did both die as murderers after their informants died). Lathum has revealed as Peacock while britrock has revealed as Plum (and we know DQ is Green). Which leaves just Col. Mustard. We have been guessing that at least (probably at most) one of the Big6 started as murderer, so unless font or bullet started that way - either Mustard is one or Lathum or brit are lying.

DQ's overestimating the chances of wolves being in on the run, but it's clear we're going to look carefully on everyone that helped shift the vote towards DQ and away from Font. not knowing how it would turn out, it is very likely a wolf at least lent support to that effort.
And then we look at the opposite, for the wolf trying to paint themselves as good just in case.

To me DT looks the worst out of the DQ voters (not that any of them look great). Autumn was Prince Azure! He had a 1 time day kill on anyone who had three or more votes, and was not a murderer. (I mean he's not a murderer. I didn't mean he could only kill non murderers!)
Also, it seems the police have been given a great deal of damning evidence on one of you. It seems a laundry list of falsified records and fake testimony has led the police to issue a new warrant, for the arrest of John Doe.
Day 4 has begun.

I am Wadsworth. I have the nightly ability to follow someone each night (since I know the house so well) and see if some performed a night action and where they went. I can NOT find out if they are a murerder (boooooooo)
N1 - followed brit. Or tried to, Mustard was guarding him so I backed off. This is why I trusted Mustard as long as his informant was alive.
N2 - followed DQ. Nothing happened, I think we know why :)
N3 - followed path. He went to PF's room.
I was contacted by the telegram girl by telegram saying she wasn't a murderer and to keep her safe. I see no need to reveal the informants identity.
I'm confident path is Mustard and was searching for his driver last night (and N1). My guess is Mustard protects his scan if they aren't his driver.
That leaves 2 unaccounted for zinto and jag. 1 is an informant and 1 is Mr Boddy who I'm quite confident is committing the murders like last night with the weapons.
vote jag
For now... but I will not be voting for anyone besides zinto or jag

Both brit and path may have narrowed it down to who their informant is at this point (its highly likely, that's why I was planning on revealing today) but would prefer not to name them off for them

Gonna have to call BS on you.
I got a message night 2 from the telegraph girl saying she wasn't a murderer and she wants me to help keep her safe.
There was nothing in that message indicating WHO was the telegraph girl.
The two don't add up.

Nonono. She sent me a telegram. I did not get a PM directly from telegram girl. I was tol d my night results and the body of telegram. In the telegram itself she revealed her identity.

That completely doesn't add up with the message I got.
Assuming she had a one time shot at telling someone in a telegram who she was, why do you think she selected you?

No worries, Chubby. It ended up working out well because it helped narrow down your info.
I am the telegram girl. I sent Lathum a message on N2, fully expecting him to know it came from me. Of course, he didn't - so I confirmed that I could actually say my name in other messages (I have 3 in the game). After yesterdays activities, I was going to send another message to Lathum, but I thought I would try and grow my own trust to others a little more and message another that I felt was safe.
I think the info that Chubby has put forth is pretty solid. There isn't much other reason for Path to be checking me out, and if he were Plum, I would be dead. I don't have much of a feel for Zinto vs. JAG, but I think a vote between the two of them is our best bet today.

I don't know that she didn't tell someone else a different night too. Were u n1 or n2? She may not have trusted you as much being big 6 as me. I think it was pretty obvious I wasn't big 6

The only reason I didn't say exactly who I was N2 (I did not send a message N1) was because I didn't think I had to. I had expected that the recipient would know it came from me, but I should have known better. After Lathum's note about getting my message, I assumed he didn't know - so I confirmed with CW and then asked if I could actually could use my name.

Only 2 unrevealed of originals in house are zinto and jag.
I was hoping somebody else would have some info on them.
Do others agree mr boddy is last murderer at the moment?

I would have to think at least one of the non-housers is one as well. The two we have gotten so far are both likely converts, which would then leave one 1 starting wolf.

03-07-2013, 09:49 AM
In a game this size, even with converts, I would think we had at least 2 to start.

I'm not going to reveal anything pertinent but the role/power I have as a latecomer is seemingly pretty minor to the roles the big 6 seem to have. So I wouldn't be surprised to find that none of the latecomers started as murderers.
I also think that there were at least two murderers in the house in day 1. Otherwise it could have been game over with a correct lynch right away and I don't think any GM takes that risk
PackerFanatic
03-07-2013, 10:38 AM
So you think there wasn't even one murderer in the entire latecomer group? I would think we are more likely to have one there, since 5 of the votes in the house could be converted.
Lathum
03-07-2013, 10:49 AM
yeah, I think there has to be at least one murderer in the late comers. If for no other reason than to prevent us as a group from just lyncing all the original members
