WW CLVI - Clue: Master Detective - GAME OVER! MURDERERS WIN! (Post 1817)

I think based on what I know and some of the peripheral stuff we have seen going on that the latecomers are more likely to have a power that helps one group or a specific character rather than starting as wolves. But I'm just one of nine I guess, probably shouldn't be making such sweeping statements about the whole group

Well Lathum I guess CW probably didn't expect people with those roles to give themselves up quite as easy as everyone did. But it is a point well taken

Chubby narrowed down the field quite a bit for me it seems. With the other reveals there's no reason not to come out as the motorist now. My role's ability is to give a player an extra vote for the following day (helping to "drive" the vote), with the caveat that it can't be used twice on the same player and can't be used on myself. The first night I gave it to hoops since I knew he couldn't be Big 6, night 2 I gave it to Autumn under the same thought plus his initial vote on bulletsponge day 2, and last night I gave it to Chubby as I felt pretty sure he had a villager role with his reveal of Plum being good near deadline the previous night.

Seeing as Zinto was scanned good by brit, I presume he must be cunning, which makes sense as to why brit was allowed to live a couple days (though not why he wasn't killed last night).

I do believe we need to play the odds that our seer scanned zinto cleared for now and I'm willing to take that as good for now. We'll cross that road at some point when we find out if brit is the seer after all. I gotta think that he's a murderer at some point if he continues to live without explanation. I guess the wolves could just keep him alive and let him eventually turn and then let us guess at the cleared scans.

I think you've been totally hung up on the semantics there. It's very clear to me that the basic types are in the game -- with a small twist for most.

Believe what you want of course and skepticism is good in this game, but I think your time could be better spent on a different track.

See in the movie he (Wadsworth) claims that he is the "humble butler". Then at the end of the 3rd plot it goes something like this:

I don't know that that is necessary anymore...unless we really think one of them is a murderer. Given the fact that all the informants are out now, if one of us were to be murdered, you would know who to go after. Our initial thinking was to remove them right away to remove any conversion possibilities, but since everyone is basically revealed now (or at least who is part of the Big6 and who the informants are), I don't think that is necessary.

I still really think we need to look at the group of latecomers and see if we can narrow down who could possibly be a murderer there - I find it unlikely that all starting murderers were in the house to start.

Well I do have a murderer his name is Jag he is the guy pretending to be the motorist. The only way I will be dead tonight is if you decide to kill me tonight. I have protection from the night kill if any other person decides to kill me tonight other then you. So, yes if you decide to kill me tonight then the motorist will be dead.

After another round of fighting, and thankfully no FBI agents smashing down the door (you know how much it costs to repair doors, Mr Hoover? Jerk.), you have come to the conclusion that JAG is clearly behind these nefarious plots.

Upon confronting JAG, however, the door breaks open again! FBI? Cops? No! It's...one guy. In a suit. And a hat. And a bowtie. And a satchel.

He marches over to the group, and reaches into his satchel, pulling out a massive stack of paperwork. "Excuse me gentlemen. I'm a paralegel for Meadowbrook & Meadowbrook. My employer, on behalf of his client, one M Boddy, has instructed me to issue a court injunction. You are hereby ordered to cease and desist all attempts to defame Mr Boddy today. You will all be served with seperate subpoenas to discuss the matter of compensation my client should be awarded due to these false accusations."

"Furthermore, my employer has instructed me to notify the police that one Wadsworth, who is, we believe, the Butler of this house, is highly suspected of being behind these nefarius events."

He serves papers to Chubby with a smile, "You are going to jail, Butler."

Moments later, police arrive, and haul Chubby off to jail!

Chubby was Wadsworth! But he's been falsely accused! He's not a murderer!

Wadsworth could follow any player and determine if they took a night action and to whose room they went to.

You are awoken very early in the morning to the sounds of massive fighting. As you rush out and look for the source, it quiets down, except for the ringing of a single extra gunshot.

As you search, you discover the first of several morbid sights. First, you discover the lifeless body of britrock88. His head has been beaten in, a bloody candlestick at his side.

Britrock was Professor Plum! He was not a murderer, and each night could determine whether or not someone was a murderer.

But this is not the last of the carnage. Further down the hall, you spot a horrific sight. It seems path12 and JAG were locked in a deadly struggle. Both have terrible wounds, and their battered bodies bleed to death right in front of your eyes. It gets worse. Standing not far from those two is the lifeless corpse of Zinto, a single bullet wound emerging from his forehead.

i have a very solid reason for being on Mau, and since you voted him too, i am not sure why I am pinging you...as far as mau goes, he gave his list of "suspects" and not only does he ignore the fact that he has not revealed, but also ignores the fact that I did.

in my experience, drawing attention to someone else while diverting it from yourself is rather telling of someone trying to get anyone lynched except themself (otherwise known as a wolf)

I'm not sure that reveal by Katy really makes me feel any different. Seems like a very easy power to pull out of your ass and the fact that it took a couple hours to come up with doesn't look great either. It also is completely opposite to what is in the writeup (although that seems to be a common theme in this game) - the writeup is all about how fragile this character is.

no, not at all, i have no problem with being a candidate...that tends to happen in WW.

but so does defending oneself...when you become a candidate, do you just sit back and let yourself get lynched...if anything, i am defensive, not aggressive...i didnt come at anyone that didnt come at me first (with a 100% erroneous argument)

In my eyes sal you became a bigger target post reveal for me (or once I realized today who you were) based on the info of my role. It has nothing pertaining your character per se but my deduction logic allows me to increase the odds of finding a wolf (again only under the argument that one of us late comers started as a murderer). I know I'm not a wolf. So as of now that leaves you, bhlloy, katy and danny and me of course from yours and bhlloys perspective.
