I don't care if the game is $500, I'm buying it.

Did I really?

360 - $399
HD-DVD - $199
Network adapter - $99

Total: More than the PS3.

But I have both systems and so far am very happy with the PS3.

Considering I have a 360 memory card, a Xchange 360, the game will cost whatever the price is. I highly doubt it will release for 60, more along the lines of 35-40. I win.

To primetime or whatever:

You don't need a wireless adapter to play online, wired works fine(and is faster!) I don't think the PS3 has built in wireless, but even if it DOES, their online is horrible, I'd rather stick with LIVE.

HDDVD isn't required, but as a side note Blu-Ray is getting killed by HDDVD right now(another terrible hardware choice by Sony) And another side note, the HDDVD is almost 2X faster at loading...

Another thing, the PS3 has been regarded as one of the worst systems to come out in a long time(by Time, and other major publications). 360 wins.

I may seem like a fanboy, but im tired of Sony claiming things such as the system will be so much better, the graphics will KILL the 360's etc.

Meh.

The 60 GB PS3 does have wireless built in. Not sure where you are getting BluRay is getting killed by HD-DVD. The big studios thus far, for the most part are behind Bluray. I went looking for some new Hi-Def movies last night. Imo, the selection of BD movies as compared to HDDVD movies definitely favors BD. (Came home with Batman Begins on HD-DVD, and Kingdom of Heaven and Punisher on BD).

I have a 360 with HD-DVD and a 60 GB PS3. I really have no idea where you are getting the PS3 is one of the worst systems ever to come out, and the 360 wins.

All things being equal, the PS3, is a quality piece of hardware that can do everything my 360 can do, but also does HDMI, and is about 1000X quieter. At this point, I play my 360 more, because the game library is better for the 360, and more of my friends are on XBL, but in a year or so when the PS3 game library catches up, I am not sure that will be true.
