I believe 2ksports is focusing on the PS3 console for this game.

I know this game will be released for both PS3 and XBOX 360 but I have a feeling they will put more focus on the PS3 based on this from the interview.

I kind of get that same feeling( glad I have one ) you almost wonder if they did so because of the ability to upload and download with ease for the PS3....I hope not because the 360 is a great system also, but I did get that feeling from reading that

No offense, but I don't see that as saying that the PS3 is getting the brunt of 2K's focus. He's simply saying that the PS3 is newer and they had to go through a learning curve (so to speak). The 360 was not mentioned but that's probably because they have already worked with it and maybe are feeling comfortable with what they have achieved thus far.

THey had to learn the PS3 because it is a pain in the rear to program for. And I don't see anything there that leads me to believe they are focusing on the ps3.

It doesn't matter which damn console they are focusing on. It will be the same game guys. This game isn't even close to being out yet and were already about to start the whole 360 vs. PS3 ****.

Ya, I'm pretty sure that's how he intended it. I think the consensus among developers is that developing for the PS3 is vastly different from developing for the 360, and thus takes a lot of time and effort just to learn the ins and outs of it. I think the only thing you can gather from this is that 2k is dedicated to learning how to develop for both consoles...just look at how they chose to push NBA 2k7 for the PS3 launch. I'd be willing to bet that APF 2k8 plays almost identical for each system, and has the same features. If there's any difference between versions it will be the use of the sixaxis controller for some small function.
