Cool Better pics of APF 2k8 from May GI

http://2ksports.com/forums/showthread.php?t=115927

Enjoy.
I was quite impressed with the Stadium designs.
The player models are not that good, but I'm sure it's gonna get better. Look at the MLB and NBA games.

The Stadiums look nice. If and I said if, they use the PFL team names, the Chicago Inferno stadium will be sweet.

I noticed the team with the planes in the background is named the Top Guns. That's a pretty lame name, IMO, I hope they(or I) can change that.

I doubt you can change names of teams, considering there stadiums seem so tailored to specific names.

Any how, the one pic where the end seems to be running up field and the tackle is pushing him past the QG, is very promising. Hopefully this is a real animation.

The player models at this point look pretty bad, as well as the uniforms. I was expecting more.

Ack, that IS their name, you can read it on the front of the jersey. Top Guns is bad...I think the name chosen in the poll by BL so long ago was the Generals, that would have been much better IMO.

I'm surprised by how much I like the stadiums- they're a little larger than life while still not being too far removed from things like the Pirate Cove in Tampa. The players look very much like the 2K5 models, but honestly I'm fine with that. What is important is how they move, and I suspect that they will move very fluidly.

The team names, on the other hand, are pretty terrible.

I've found that when I look at the pics long enough I can see some pretty impressive animations going on. lol
