Outside of the contradictions of playing the game or not playing the game that jmood mentioned, the bronze, gold, silver stuff was also in the GI preview. Whatever, the guy may have been legit but any of us could've said it had B, S, G options b/c we all read the same thing.

A number of folks around the net were acting as if David Ortiz from EA was taking shots at 2K8, but he really didn't. His answers were very political, actually. However, he did mention that (paraphrasing) Madden also has legends and if you want to play with legends in the best game, get Madden '08. The sports guys were trying to get David to say something tougher, but he just wouldn't do it. With all of the talk from David during that interview about it being good that "competition is back" I wished the Sports Game Guys were a little harder on him. It's June, and usually there is a bit of controversy by now, but so far both camps have been rather quiet. It may be a guilty pleasure but the controversy was part of what made these releases fun for me, lol. There's still time though
