From what I can tell... the presentation is looking just as tight as 2K5. Not sure about the 1/2 time show but how can OS previewer say the presentation is lacking in this game?

I believe it was confirmed there was no Franchise report or Weekly wrap up, something that was in 2k5. Without it, you feel the game has regressed in terms of presentation.

Something kind of odd: the playbook options look like they change during a drive.

In the On the Spot video, the first time an offensive play is selected, there are 11 available formation types. The guy scrolls through I formation, I strong, I weak, and selects split backs. The upper-left part of the play selection screen says "4 of 11".

He runs a play, and then on the next play selection screen, the split backs formation is now "4 of 12".

A similar thing happens on defense. The first few times we see a defensive play getting selected, there are 9 defensive packages available. The last time the defensive playcalling screen is shown, though, there are 10.

Any ideas on what formation/playcall would be dependent on the situation?

On defense, for example, the 9 packages are probably:
4-3
Bear
4-4
Nickel
Dime
Prevent
Goalline
Punt return
Kick block

So what could the 10th choice be? It doesn't seem very likely that calling a 3-4 alignment, for example, would only be available at certain times.
