OK - how many people have you talked into buying APF2K8?

I tried to convince my homeboy. He played APF at my crib on the plasma, and said it looks nice and the animations are cool but it sucks.

Yeah, really. That's about as ridiculous as trying to talk someone into buying APF...or any game for that matter.


tj, you're acting as if 2K is some newcomer to the gaming industry. They have 3 other sports titles that are fairly successful. They have enough money to bid on the NFL license. They own the 3rd party rights to the MLB license. I'm pretty sure they can scrape up enough coin from under the couch cushions to market their product.

Not to be rude or anything. But you spend a lot of time in the forum of a game that you think is "sappy crappy"....

2 of my boyz picked it up last week. Once they see APF on my 61 HDTV they want it. Gonna have a get together with about 10 fellas this weekend. I bet 1/2 will pick it up after that!!

Yeah I wasn't prejudice, I wanted to see what the hype was about. Traded in a bunch of games for it.


Since it might be the last 2k football game, I'll keep it. Or if I can get at least $35+ off of Madden, then off it goes.

I never said you are not entitled to your opinion at all. At some point when does it start to feel like a bunch of wasted energy.....? You don't like the game, I get that! LOL
