i really like the season mode on this game. i think that next year it will be better than this year. for what its worth, the legends are a beast in this game and the gun slingers really like to air it out. what are some of your thouhgts on how to build upon this idea?

They have to make it possible to play multiple seasons, watching Rypien go down in week 3 or so and the backup not being able to throw at all, kills it, I had to restart. If there were multiple seasons atleast I could have suffered through a season to get to the next one instead of starting over like I did.

this is true. great idea and i believe this will be in next years version of the game. i was reading an article in my game informer magazine i recieve about 3 months ago and chu i believe said that they didnt have enough time to fizzle with the franchise mode. the idea of the game was finalized in december of 06 so i say that for that little of time we got a good deal.

Adversity man, adversity. Your main dude goes down suck it up and keep moving. By the time I got to the "Championship game" I lost Rob Moore, Deacon Jones and my main back, Warner, got injured in-game. But I just opened up the playbook a little more to get plays that my other guys can handle and get us the win.

You can't trade players. You can't edit players. There is no real weekly news. There is no weekly wrap up. No mention of the league whatsoever until the playoffs and even then it's barely mentioned. There is no presentation of awards. Season mode is nothing... but a waste of time.

What should they do to improve it? They should do SOMETHING rather than the nothing they did with this. I doubt there'll be another APF anyway, but hope springs eternal.

I just won the Championship last night. Although I knew it was a one and done, I was still dissappointed when the "Exit season" prompt came up after the game.
