And it is fun to watch those whom are getting "emotional" over the fade route accuse others of getting emotional over it.

I guarantee that Autumn, and, for that matter, just about anyone else that has posted on this topic is more of a "sim" player than you could ever be. How do I know this? You, obviously, like bending the rules to your favor. What else is in your book o' sim rules?

I dont mean to agree with the freak but when I play someone I know isnt great at the game. Im talking just your average casual lobby player, I will not call that route. It is very difficult to stop if your not a good APF player.

The WR burns the corner almost every time because of the fast animation. So if there not in a COVER 2 or something with a safety over top its an auto TD. Hell half the time they are in something with a safety over top the receiver will still burn them.

I just played a guy where he would call a fade with his right WR (bronze speed burner) I had Renfro on him so I was thinking he could stop him, even with a Bronze safety over top in a MAN cover 2 he beat me for 6 twice. I decided to move Night Train on him and bump to the outside. But problem was his left receiver was running a Deep Post so by bumping outside he was picking up big yards that way. I finally stopped him by manually using the Safety to jump the post. Later in the game he burned my gold safety and gold corner with a deep fade using Drew Pearson. All 3 of his TDs were on fade routes with my safeties playing deep...that should not happen. I still won the game cause he had no actual skill and based his whole offense around forcing me to adjust my entire defense to one route.

I only call it if I suspect Zero Coverage. Ive had plenty of times where my WR burns right past the defense when my opponent had a play called that should have stopped it...so I dont throw it there. It feels cheap to me.

But again if I know the person i'm playing is smart and knows a few ways to stop it then I have no problem incorporating it into my offense. Ill still only call it when I see no safety help and only a couple times a game.

I think it would be nearly impossible to stop 2 golds WRs running fades deep on opposite sides. Especially if they have bump buster.
