Re: What's your best build?
The offense controls the clock, while the defense is driven by it's good safety play and dominant DL.
G:Mike Ditka, TE-He's an OT and Randy Moss all in one
G: Ronnie Lott, FS-Unlike the gold LBs I've tried, if he srews up he'll make a huge INT later on
S: Bart Starr, QB-Nothing spectacular, but can win me games when I need him to.
S: Elvin Bethea, DE-Borderline unblockable. For my No Blitz defense, I need a dominant DL.
S: Joey Browner, SS-The John Lynch of my defense. A nasty headhunter who prevents the big play. Never misses tackles.
B: William Perry, DT-Since I never blitz, this guy will draw the majority of double teams. He's a great space eater and an underrated pass rusher
B: Dexter Manley, DE-Him and Bethea regularly combine for +5 sacks. He's most deadly when you're protecting a lead late.
B: Tom Rathman, FB-Him and Ditka are the heart of my grind it out offense. He runs, blocks, and catches well.
B: Christian Okoye, HB-I'm not a fan of high risk outside runs, so he's the perfect back for my system. I don't waste silvers on RBs when Okoye does the job just as well.
B: Rob Moore, WR-I really should try putting a speedier receiver out here to contrast Ditka's tough over the middle style, but when you've got a guy who does not drop passes, why change what isn't broke?
B: John Offerdahl, ILB-The only homer pick on my team. I haven't had much success with gold or silver LBs, so I settled on this bronze. He doesn't make spectacular plays very much, but he does a good job of flowing to the ball as the DL eats apart the other guy's OL.
