I guess you played 5 minute quarters?

When i calculate the numbers to 120 plays I get...

Passing Yards
STL-377
SD-243

Rushing Yards
STL- 147
SD- 78

what form were you playing with?

MJ
5 minute quarters and average form. Sacks were 4 for STL and 2 for me.

Makes sense. If you played on medium you probably would have had a very tight game.

The Steeler/Bronco game was tough to gauge.
Steelers would lock down the Broncos and Broncos would lock down Harris but they could be beaten through the air.
Bradshaw played kinda weak though. He might need a boost.

Good job posting the details.
Please let me know how the next game plays.

I wonder...how would Steelers (cpu)- Rams (user) go for you?
thanks,
MJ

Ok so I just played that Rams(me) vs. Steelers matchup that you suggested. Once again on hard, average form and 5 minute quarters. Final score was 38-28 in favor of the Rams.

Total Yards
STL-355
PIT-243

Passing Yards
STL- 205
PIT- 205

Rushing Yards
STL- 150
PIT- 38

Sacks
STL-0
PIT- 3

Kurt Warner- 17 of 25 for 226 yards 2 tds 1 int
Bradshaw- 18 of 31 for 205 yards 3 tds 3 ints

Marshall Faulk- 16 rushes for 151 yards 3 tds ( 5 catches for 67 yards)
Franco Harris- 14 rushes for 30 yards

First half I was getting stuffed with Faulk , second half I busted 3 or 4 long runs, 2 of those for tds. This is the second game though that I have held Franco Harris to almost nothing on the ground which is something you may want to look into in. Pittsburgh was also blitzing a ton which was very realistic , I was able to take advantage of one on one coverage when I got good protection.

On a side note there was a first for the CPU in this game. The CPU returned a kickoff for a td on me and they were close to returning another one as well.

Sucks this forum is virtually dead as your roster does make the game more enjoyable/better.

Played another game as the 1985 Bears(me) against the 1986 Giants, once again hard and normal form. Game went about how you would expect it, with it being a tough defensive style of game. Final score was 14-3 Bears.

Total Yards
CHI- 221
NY- 113

Passing Yards
CHI- 121
NY- 103

Rushing Yards
CHI- 100
NY- 10

Sacks
CHI-2
NY- 4

Jim Mcmahon- 12 of 18 for 145 yards 0 tds 1 int
Phil Simms- 8 of 20 for 114 yards 0 tds 1 int

Walter Payton- 30 carries for 93 yards 2 tds
J. Morris- 9 carries for 2 yards
M.Carthon(NY) 3 carries for 8 yards

I don't have stats for you yet, I just loaded the rosters and played a quick game; but wow what a difference! I played the 1999 Jags Pro/Hard/Random and ripped off 3 runs of more than 20 yards! I just wanted to say thanks, this game is fun again!

BTW. Just made a donation, great job!

I'll help with testing these rosters out but could someone point me to some directions on how to get these into the game (for the 360).

I'll post some stats when done......thanks in advance MJ for your work on this
