Re-creating The 2010 NFL for Backbreaker

The benefit to a May release for Backbreaker.

This is clearly speculation. It may not be intentional by the makers of Backbreaker. I don't know how deep the editing process is going to be for Backbreaker but a May release could be very useful for the players who want to re-create the NFL.

By May, NFL rosters will be pretty much set after the college draft. This will give the user the chance to re-create every NFL team's roster. It's like a user made updated roster for The BB game. The 2010 pro football season starts in May for Backbreaker.

We still don't know if a user can edit every team or how many team's can be created. The report is that the game will have 56 teams. I say that the user should be allowed to create or edit 32 teams.... Just a nice round number like 32 makes sense.

24 of the game's teams could be computer generated. 32 teams should be allowed to be created and edited by the user. Customizing your own league like division alignment can be real helpful for the user who wants to edit and customize their franchise experience. Backbreaker should make it that franchise mode has as little as 24 teams during a season or as much as 56.

Imagine having a 32 team league of user created teams and players. That would be amazing. The May release helps you stay up to date with the rosters of a certain pro league.

Why restrict the ability to create to only 32 teams?

What if team expansion comes calling in the NFL within the next few years. Plus, the added 24 teams could be dedicated to college football teams. Or heck, the entire 56 teams could be dedicated to college football teams only.

Two games in one. Your college and nfl teams stacked, ready at your fingertips. Don't forgot the colleges. Don't forgot the possible nfl expansion.

You decide:
1. NFL Backbreaker
2. College Backbreaker
3. "etc." Backbreaker

56 user created teams is a must.

it will most likely be unlimited...well it depends on how much space you have on you Hard Drive....or Memory Cards

now as far as teams per league...then it will most likely have a limit.... there will probably 32 team limit.....and a larger one for College type league.

some of us will have all types of teams stored on our hard drives....

from our serious NFL leagues.....to former and current leagues, like XFL, USFL, UFL, CFL

then there will be fictional teams.... like Willie Beamen and the Sharks from Any Given Sunday with matching roster as well as other teams from that movie with created Roster.

then there are World Football League type league but with Countries......like a World Cup but with Football.....complete with matching colors from our flags....but what makes this really nice is that we can customize the endzones with our Flags.....and also, the home crowds will be sporting their nation's team colors...

and much much more.... right there for us....just a "load created team" from harddrive selection click away.

I don't understand why the makers of the game don't do what they used to do back in the days of Tecmo Bowl and have the Chicago Grizzlies, Dallas Texans, Cleveland Dawgs, etc? Back before those licenses were sold or were exclusive to one company (yes even back then) that is how everyone did it. Why can't they go back to that?

NFL rosters are no where set in May.. If this game allow us have training camp roster at 80 and we able to cutdown to 53 would be great..

they have something similar...we have seen a San Francisco team with a Golden Gate Bridge statue on top of the stadium...

and we have also seen a Pittsburgh stadium.
although this one might just be a custom made sideline.

well i think its a bit safer & better that we're able to just create whatever we want than just be stuck with non-editable generic teams & logos. only consoles did this w/o the license but pc games were made to be fully editable with team names & roster names since pc had that capability.

That's exactly how I feel. All they had to do was make a fully customizable game with 32 premade teams modeled after NFL teams and located in the NFL cities. They also should have made the equipment more traditional: the futuristic pads and visors on every player was a horrible idea.

The game would be much more successful this way.
