Re: Gameplay alone

Will there be a catch input? In other words once you scan the field left or right with the R Stick, find your receiver, and move the R Stick Up to throw, will there be an input to "catch" the ball or will you just position the receiver if necessary with the L Stick?

With euphoria, animations are not canned but are generated on-the-fly by the hardware's processors as the game is played. Every tackle is your tackle, every haymaker is your haymaker.

euphoria is instead based on a full simulation of a 3D character, including body, muscles and motor nervous system. This creates fully interactive animations that act and react differently every time.
Euphoria is like that really hot girl you thought you'd never have a chance with.

Re: Gameplay alone

The followers, supporters and naysayers of this game would be doing themselves a big favor by listening to the full 90 minute conference call.

By doing that, you will find out how euphoria effects the AI among other things

So player ratings are irrelevant?

Re: Gameplay alone

Well, of course AI is still part of the equation. Where I think people are expecting too much, is thinking that Euphoria eliminates the AI issues other football games have had. No matter what, they still have to program behaviors just like anything else, which means that if they program a player to do the wrong thing it's still going to show up as a problem.

I heard there are no user replays (is that true?). And the camera view is going to make it harder to spot a lot of the AI problems defensively. So many of the problems we complain about in other games will probably be covered up because of the angles, but plenty will still be there.

Re: Gameplay alone

i havent been keeping up with OS that much lately but this being a bb gameplay discussion has anyone here heard about the effect weather will have on backbreaker's gameplay? i heard that there is only rain in bb but will there be high winds in the games as well and will it actually effect the gamplay? will teams change the offensive gameplay according to the weather? will there be varying levels on the weather elements in the game? like will there be pouring rain and will there be drizzling rain, will there be high winds and mild winds and will each one effect the game differently? will receivers drop passes more oftenin the rain? will the uniforms get dirty? i know that doesnt really effect gameplay but its always been cool to see.
