Sure glad that series over! We sucked, it's history, and we're moving on, so that's all I'm gonna say about that.

We move on to the interleague play now. I'm not a fan of it at all. I think both league have their own strategies and asking teams to switch rules in the middle of the season is a load of crap! I think the NL's pinch hitting strategies are great and I incorporate some of it in our games, but consistency is nice.

I had a long talk with Jake and Ricky on the plane after last night's game. Apparently Ricky feels he's not pitching enough to stay loose and mentally sharp. He tried to throw a two-seamer low and away from Dunn and it ended up over the heart of the plate. I think we'll try and pitch Ricky more, and given the lack of success from the bullpen, he may go for two-inning saves and possibly pitch in non-save situation games.

As a result, I'm going to ask Gus to step up his workload as well. All being said, that gives us two relievers who can go two innings, so I'm making a roster move...
