Solid game out there, Lame, real nice stuff. You show quite the aptitude for baseball.

"Vinnie, it's clear you want something. Otherwise you wouldn't be confronting me in the alley behind the bleachers."

Yeah. You need to stop letting Stephanie select your lineups. When you put in the effort, Lame, you are a master strategist. You seem to have a key feeling for player skillsets. Lame, you've learned how to run the bases, and turned these butchers into gold-glove fielders.

I work with people who could use a mind like you. Don't drink this chance down the drain, Lame. Talk to me after the playoffs.

Vinnie is a scam artist. I'd never trust him. The thing about baseball is so much of it is based on the eye, on the scheme, on the situation, and on the collective. Football is not that way.

It's hard for me to re-adapt to press conferences. Media day in the BBL occurs at the end of the conference schedule.

Media Member: "Great game out there against Boston. Solid pitching. Still, it has to be disappointing to only rack up four runs on the Red Sox rotation."

"We can't bring the heat every day. The kids took it a little easy. We felt we should toy with them."

Who knows? You gotta let the players tell you. This is especially true in baseball.

Media: "The schedule is all downhill from here. You play just one winning team, the last day of the season versus the royals, the rest of the season. That's the weekly NESN special. Is the best record in your sights?"

"That is the goal. Anything less than League Leaders I consider a failure."

Your last Televised Game saw you get blown out by the Yankees. The Melonheads are only 1-1 against .500 teams. Will a different approach be used for the televised non-conference game and the postseason?

'We're going to play more small-ball in the postseason. The bullpen will be brought in earlier, and the infield will be managed more carefully."

This team concerns me. We seem to fold under pressure. I hope we can live up to our talent level.
