Bowling Green, KY - After two weeks of preparation, coach Kirby and his team travel to Kentucky to face the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers in their season opener. This will be the first test for the newly appointed head coach and many wonder if you up for the challenge.

Coach Kirby - " I couldn't sleep one big last night, I feel this massive pressure on my back. I guess this is what it feels like to play on a different level. I just hope that the team is ready for whatever they dish out. If we can win on the road for our season opener than that should build up confidence in our players!"

Foul's cost the owls the game!

Vs.

Bowling Green, KY - It was coach Kirby's first game both on the road and his first college game. It didn't turn out the way he had it planned, as the fighting owls struggled to keep pace with the hilltoppers all through out this match. It was a complete disaster for the owls nobody was able to hit their shoots, they couldn't get a turnover and ever worst committed 20 team fouls in the 2nd half alone...[0-1] isn't the start Coach Kirby had in mind.


Coach K.C. - " We played horrible tonight and I hope to never see that kind of play ever again. Their were moments when we had wide open shots, but completely missed them and couldn't even get the rebound from it. We are gonna be practicing harder this week so we can prepare for Boston university next week and hopefully we will seen an improvement in our game."
