NBA 2K12|Los Angeles Lakers Association

MyBannerMaker_Banner.jpg
2011-12 Los Angeles Lakers Association|NBA 2K12
I'm starting up my NBA 2K12 Association Dynasty thread a few days early. I am going to begin starting from the end of the 2010-11 season after the NBA Finals and just before the NBA Draft. Now because with the situation concerning the collective bargaining agreement in the NBA a full 2011-12 season is in jeopardy of being lost. However, I'm sure that those of us who have ordered or are going to purchase NBA 2K12 are looking forward to experiencing and playing the game despite the current situation in the NBA. I would have to assume that the rosters are going to be very accurate as far as free agents go, but if not I will make the necessary changes. So I hope that you all enjoyed following my Kobe Bryant Lakers Dynasty for NBA 2K11 and I hope that you all will follow and enjoy reading my NBA 2K12 Los Angeles Lakers Association. Before I begin this franchise I will look over the players ratings and all the attributes and make sure that I am able to get the best out of the game. Your thoughts and opinions are more then welcomed.

Thumbs up Re: NBA 2K12|Los Angeles Lakers Association

just one tip from me, if your Association activity bothers you, try to control it as much as you can.. personally I don't get bothered by the life my Associations take as every one is different but I do try to control certain aspects

first turn off autosave as it makes the edits go by quicker, turn it back on when done

-edit players on other teams you consider its core and want to keep together to include: NTC's (no trade clauses), and set their contract option away from Player to Team or None
---this basically means the team won't trade them and you won't have to have early headaches come offseason if they opt out of their contract

ie: edit the Big Three in Miami, Wade/James/Bosh to keep them all in Miami for the next 5+ years

anyhows, have fun! that's pretty much what it boils down to, having fun

Game Notes
NBA Opening Night, live from STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, where the Los Angeles Lakers play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder to get their 2011-12 season underway. The Lakers of course coming off that embarrassing second round playoff sweep by the NBA Champion Dallas Mavericks and the Thunder didn't favor much better losing to the Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals. The triangle offense for the first time in 12 years will not be the offense the Lakers go out on the court to run, with Mike Brown, the new head coach favoring a more offensive system similar to the one that he ran as part of the Spurs coaching staff when they won the championship back in 2002-03. Kobe Bryant is still expected to get as many touches as he did in the triangle, but more of the isolated variety this year. Thunder head coach Scott Brooks believes this is a huge season for his young and talented team after their outstanding playoff run last season. Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook lead this young talented group with a great young core of athletic players like Serge Ibaka, James Harden and Thabo Sefolosha. Both teams have high expectations this season, of course for the Lakers anything other then reclaiming their championship back would be considered a failure.

Thanks for the tips, I will follow up on those. Hope you enjoy following this association. If you have time go to the page 2 of the main NBA Dynasty board and take a look through my NBA 2K11 Assocation|The Legend of Kobe Bryant 2.

Hey Red, thanks bro, sorry about the long delay, but school started last month so work has been a killer and plus tomorrow my varsity basketball team officially begins practice for our upcoming season so bear with me during this new association. I have a great layout that I've been working on and hopefully everyone will enjoy it. Getting ready to play the first game of the season in a few, will post a recap and boxscore after wards.
