Portland Trail blazers announce trade for Zaza Pachulia
Today the Portland trail blazers have traded for Zaza Pachulia. Portland traded Hasheem Thabeet to Atlanta in return. Zaza was quoted to be saying "I am thrilled to make a movee to a team like Portland, and I feel like I can make a difference.
Portland today also waived Joel Przybilla.

Blazers flex muscle, overpower raptors.

Portland began their 2011-12 campaign last night with a solid win over the toronto raptors 58-48 off the back of very solid performances out of nic batum La Marcus Aldridge and suprisingly J.J Hickson who set up the win with a dominating first half for the blazers. Raymond Felton was inactive due to a Strained Groin and is out for 2-4 weeks.

J.J Hickson Signs extension with Blazers
Portland today have signed F/C J.J Hickson to a 4yr/28.67 deal with portland. this moves shores up portland's frontcourt with Aldridge signed on for 4 years, and hickson with 5 years to run. JJ Hickson is quoted as being "Delighted with the move."

It may not have been an amazing game, but the portland trail blazers were able to beat the new jersey nets tonight off the back of another very good game off the back of j.j hickson and nic batum, aldridge was kept fairly quiet by the nets.
