Rookie Report
Danny Papluka - #20:
Boston Celtics
15GP, 5.5PPG, 2.8RPG, 1.5APG, .465FG%
Report: Papluka fits in well behind Rondo. So well in fact, Boston traded Jason Terry, who was playing backup. He reached a career high of 19 minutes, scoring 11 points and 6 rebounds in the win against Brooklyn Nets. Has a career high of 12 points.
Jamie Stafford - #9:
New Orleans Hornets
17GP, 3.6PPG, 3.5RPB, .545FG%, .571FT%
Report: Currently suffering from Back Spasms and is day-to-day, he has been playing about 9 minutes a game, backing up big man Anthony Davis and Al-Farouq Aminu at SF. When asked how he felt about the team, he smirked and replied "I am happy with the direction this organization is going, and my part in taking it there". He has a career high of 10 points in his game against James Kemmerer and the Orlando Magic.
Christian Carter - #9
Sacramento Kings
16GP, 4.4PPG, 1.5RPG, 2.6APG, .500FG%, 1.000-3PT%, .889FT%
Report: Playing an average 10 minutes per game, the 6'6 205lb Shooting Guard is in love with his team, and the town. He had his career high of 9 points against Noah Jackson and the Portland Trail Blazers, shooting 4-4 from the field, and 1-2 from the charity line. His one and only shot from behind the arc landed in the blowout against Memphis Grizzlies.
James Kemmerer - #30
Orlando Magic
14GP, 10PPG, 2.4RPG, 2.1APG, .436FG%, .500-3PT%, .333FT%
Report: Kemmerer had a career high of 10 points in the win against Alonzo Reyes and the Milwaukee Bucks. He also recorded 3 reb, 4 ast and 1 stl; making 3-4 from the field and sinking his only 3-point shot.
D'Brickashaw Leonard - #33
Dallas Mavericks
14GP, 9MPG, 2.7PPPG, .545FG%
Report: Leonard recorded a career high of 6 points, shooting 100% from the field, in the loss against Omuis Gobbledegook and the Pistons. There was an altercation and words were exchanged between the two, but the refs intruded. His presence makes Jared Cunningham (2012 pick) very uncomfortable, and word has it that Cunningham has requested a trade. Look for Leonard to become the new backup Shooting Guard in the near future.
Omuis Gobbledegook - #69
Detroit Pistons
16GP, 8MPG, 2.3PPG, 2.1RPG, 2.1APG, .520FG%, .733FT%
Report: Gobbledegook was made fun of back in highschool for his name. He has a tendency to mouth off at the refs and other players. His career high of 6 points came in the loss to Jamie Stafford and the Hornets. He splits time but plays a couple more minutes with Andre Drummond, the rookie picked in the 2012 draft. They both backup the lead Center, Greg Monroe.
Brandon Dean - #27
Toronto Raptors
17GP, 19MPG, 12PPG, 3.3APG, .730FT%
Report: A Home-Town boy. Dean didn't have to go far when he got drafted. The Raptors really needed a backup Point Guard after Calderon left in the 3-team trade a couple weeks ago. He is averaging 19 minutes a game, and has a career best of 18 points, and 21 minutes played. His 21 minute game came in the loss to Christian Carter and the Kings. This is also when he scored his career high 18 points, shooting 6-11 from the field, 5-7 from the line and 25% (1-4) from behind the arc. He was also named Rookie of the month in November.
Noah Jackson - #35
Portland Trail Blazers
17GS, 17GP, 32MPG, 6PPG, 8RPG, .505FG%, .685FT%
Report: Right from the get-go, this man is a star. Orlando drafted him 1st overall, then traded him to the Bobcats, who shipped him off in the same draft to Portland. As it turns out, he is a starter here and fits in nice beside Aldridge. Look at Portland to make some changes and trade J.J. Hickson. He has a career high of 26 points against Danny Papluka and the Boston Celtics. He was also named Rookie of the month in November.
Jake White - #22
Washington Wizards
15GP, 9MPG, 4.6PPG, 1.2RPG, 2.6APG, .733FT%
Report: Recording only 1 foul in 15 games, White is an amazing player to come off the bench behind Wall. Both his career high in minutes (13) and points (14) came in the win against Atlanta Hawks. He shot 75% (6-8) from the field, while recording 2-4 buckets from the line. He may be young, but he will flourish.
Aaron Powers - #40
Charlotte Bobcats
15GP, 9MPG, 4PPG, 2.1RPG, .512FG%, .684FT%
Report: Tied his career high of 9 points twice (L against Philly, L against Brooklyn) and both times shooting 4-5 from the field and 1-2 from the line. The bad news is that he plays in the same position as MKG, but on the bright side, he made his only other competition, Jeff Taylor, request a trade due to lack of minutes. Expect him to make the Rising Stars.
Alonzo Reyes - #18
Milwaukee Bucks
16GP, 10MPG, 5PPG, 2.2APG, .857-3PT%, .800FT%
Report: The Good: Out-playing Udrih ; The Bad: As long as Jennings is on the team, expect Reyes to stay a backup. Milwaukee ended up trading a Point Guard they picked up in the 2nd round to Orlando, just because they knew they could count on Reyes. With a win against the Clippers, Reyes recorded his career best in minutes (11) and Points (11). He shot 5-8 from the field, and one from the line.
