Coming into the game was highly anticipated. Some called it the game of the year before the game even started. The New-look Cavs and the new-look Pistons squared off at the Palace for a game between the East's two new kings. Heat and Pacers? You're no competition for us.

Kyrie Irving and Brandon Jennings were the focal points of both offenses. Both the #1 scoring option, they both put out a fight, both at least scoring 30 with Jennings scoring 37 while Kyrie scored 43. Fans were roaring the whole game, even setting a basketball-record 127 decibels, beating out the Kings at Sleep Train Arena back in 2013. The Palace of Auburn Hills has never been louder.

For Detroit, they came out with a great victory. with 2 ticks on the clock, backup point guard Keith Appling sealed a win with a three at the buzzer. Fans roared, LOUD at the shot. In other players, Josh Smith had an efficient day, scoring 23 points on 10-11 shooting.

For Cleveland, they come out of this game with a heartbreaking loss. After they lost Dion Waiters to a broken arm, Lance Stephenson stepped up, scoring 11 points and dishing out 7 assists. Kyrie Irving continued his great season with 43 points and also giving out 7 assists.

Impact Player

Keith Appling destroys the Cavs with a GW 3-pointer a the buzzer.
