First of all I want to welcome you to my Dynasty honestly speaking, College Hoops 2k8 is one of those games for me which has stood the test of time.. not only has it been the longest game i've had and continue to play, it's the longest "Dynasty/Franchise/Association" I've ever kept active

every now and then, the itch hits and i coach CH2k8 once more

this is NOT your normal dynasty.. i will not catalogue my journey from a fresh coach from a small school working his way up.. on the contrary. I find no fun in that.. where i do find the most fun is not only in coaching but in recruiting and team building aspects.. getting that prized recruit and building a team to see how far we can go -- that is what drives me. i cannot accomplish that starting out without my coaching skills developed on a small school.. so instead, this dynasty will focus on my coach in his twilight years! a senior coach, one of the best in the game who have pretty much seen and done it all except one thing: Win the Championship with a Mid-Major school!

that is what this dynasty is all about.. I have worked my way up to Power Conferences.. coaching future NBA Draft stars as well as winning the NCAA Championship.. there's nothing left for me to prove. So i am headed to the Hofstra Pride.. to see what kind of program I can establish. With me I take my Coaching Skills and the journey, begins anew..

where will my team end up? how will we fair? will i be able to get any top recruits?? .... we shall see!

NOTE: I will start cataloguing my team from year 2, because i will use the first year as a recruiting year to get a headstart on the team building aspects and better control the destiny of my Pride!

Even though I finished 5th in the conference, my Pride has won the Colonial Athletic Association Championship ensuring an automatic NCAA bid

I am currently running a NCAA Football dynasty with Georgia State. I didn't realize they play in the Colonial in Basketball..

Good luck against Louisville back in one of my former legacies, they became a heated rival when I was at Boise State, seemed like we faced them at least 4 times in a 6 year period in the NCAA tourney.

well, i'll be honest.. this is 2008!! :P lol one of the most endearing (I'm a New Yorker) features of this game to me is that the BIG EAST is still alive here

maybe Georgia St. moves conferences if they're in a different conference now?

yeah.. Lousville is always a tough draw. I've actually played this game enough to know these Big East teams are just powerhouses!!

NCAA FIRST ROUND:
#12 Hofstra Pride vs #5 Lousville Cardinals



PAINFUL.

That about sums this match up.. 12th seed Hofstra Pride faced 5th seed Lousville Cardinals and it was painful. They simply outclassed us in every aspect of the game from shooting to rebounding to passing.. it was painful out there tonight.

I was hoping to see how far I can ride my talented Senior Patrick Frazier (84 OVR) before he enters the NBA Draft but it simply wasn't meant to be. Lousville was faster, stronger, jumped higher, and executed far better than my Pride and the results speak for themselves.



NCAA TOURNAMENT RESULT:



No surprise that the Ohio State Buckeyes, the #2 ranked team in all of college basketball won the championship this year. 95 OVR with A+ prospects in pretty much every position means they will be a force to be reckoned with for a long time..
