I think the Jazz are gonna want some picks for Favors; he's not great, he's solidly good, but he has value. Dude has a nice mid-range game, plays the boards, plays within the offense. Just not a star, though, can't carry things.

Hopefully they don't want picks, but if they need one, I'm willing to part with my 2017 1st (definitely not my 2016 1st though, just in case I don't make the playoffs this year). I think I'll be able to make a deal for him, and one that benefits both teams fairly.

Wasn't planning on completing Brook Lopez's request so quickly, but:



We had to give up Patterson instead of Robinson because Patterson's contract made the deal work, but I'm still happy with what went down. Those three others guys I got in the deal are all bench warmers with <$1 mil. contracts, so I am fine with acquiring them.

Now Favors is back in New Jersey, Lopez is happy, and I'm really excited too.

Note from abrod266: The deal did bring our team chemistry down to 57%, but when we get to the next game I'm playing (approx. 12 games from now), chemistry should go up a lot.

Game 27 of the Regular Season:
New Jersey Nets 130, Minnesota Timberwolves 114



Kemba Walker was hyped up during this game, and for good reason.

Well, the Nets came into this game having lost 7 of their last 9, and they were not going to let this dry spell continue. Rudy Gay scored a career-high 44 points in this victory over the young, up-and-coming Timberwolves.

"Those guys are gonna be championship contenders very soon," said general manager A-Brod about the Timberwolves. "Give them two seasons to improve their basketball, and I'd expect to see the T-Wolves in the NBA Finals."

This win really boosted the confidence of Nets fan everywhere, as things had just not been going their way during the month of December. Their only wins during the month were against the Clippers and the Heat, and both wins were only by 2 points. Hopefully this win is the first of many dominant victories in a row for the Nets.

In other news, the Clippers have traded Lance Stephenson along with Chuck Hayes for two players from the Raptors, one of them being DeMarre Carroll (can't remember the other one, but he was a bench-warmer). This blockbuster was finalized during the Nets-Timberwolves game, and it's a deal that is going to impact both the Atlantic and Pacific divisions of the Eastern and Western conferences, respectively. The Clippers also extended Jamal Crawford's contract for one more season.

Notes from abrod266: Favors played well, just need to master his jumper and not release too early... Finally played well with Brook and Kemba, hopefully I'll keep up the level of performance with both of them... Rudy Gay played amazing as well, which I expected... Not planning on any more trades for the rest of the season (except maybe one at the deadline), since I want to improve chemistry.

Still following but havent commented in a while, but enjoying this so much bro, trades you pull of are great and loving the team, definitely Rudy Gay! But does how little players re-sign for bother you, I have played many test MyLeague's with settings and MyGM's to see how my dynasty could go and players always sign for little contracts like Drummond with his $9M a year deal. Does it bother you??

Haha thanks man, glad you're enjoying it. Yeah, the trades I've made have been pretty good imo and altogether I like the direction we're headed in. Also, after you said this, I kinda started to realize how the drummond extension and others happen a lot, and it is kinda annoying haha. Never really realized that.
