The 95-96 Chicago Bulls were a hungry team that year, especially after losing the season before in the playoffs all while Michael Jordan made 'The Comeback'.

We've heard the comparisons, and the 'what ifs'. With the Bulls winning the championship in 95-96 and the Cavaliers getting to the championship in 14-15' led by a dominant Lebron James. Who would win? Who gets the upper hand in this dream matchup, Lebron James? Michael Jordan?

This game ended up being Michael Jordan vs Kyrie Irving. Not what the fans paid money to watch, but boy was it a good one. Jordan and the Bulls started off running in sand, slow. The Cavs were able to get their lead to double digits early on but Jordan scored 43 points and seemed like no one on the Cavs was able to guard him, not even when Lebron James did.

There wasn't a defender on the Bulls that could guard Kyrie Irving either. Irving doubled Lebron's shots attempt played an absolute dominating game. The Cavs shot 8 more free throws and made 12 more free throws than the Bulls did. The Bulls were not getting the home calls in this one and Cleveland took advantage of it. Cavaliers beat Bulls 120-113

Impressive game by Jordan. Too bad the Bulls couldn't pull it out.

I was really looking forward to this game. If you look at the lineups, the matchups are there, although I think the Celtics have the advantage at small forward and power forward.

The Houston Rockets led most of the way here. Vernon Maxwell known for his antics was huge in this game for Houston. Overall the Rockets shot lights out until the 4th quarter the Celtics finally took a one point lead on a pair of Larry Bird free throws. But Maxwell and Olajuwon would led the charge in this one and got the win, Celtics 96 Rockets 101

With C Patrick Ewing on the sidelines for this game, John Starks decided to put this game in his hands. Starks soared past this Hornets defense all throughout the game. Things got a little chippy at the start of the 3rd quarter as Charles Oakley drew a flagarent foul as he went up strong to defend Alonzo Mourning. The Hornets really struggled and seemed that their small lineup proved to be an issue against this Knicks team.

Allen Iverson had one of the biggest hearts in the NBA, never being scared of taking it inside and had the ultimate killer crossover (behind Tim Hardaway IMO). By the time the 2000-2001 season rolled around, Hakeem Olajuwon was the only Rocket left from the 93-94' team. Iverson was a one man show basically and this matchup against the eventual NBA Champs would prove to be a problem for AI & the 76ers.

Hakeem Olajuwon dominated once again as the 76ers couldn't stop the Rockets frontcourt. Vernon Maxwell gave Iverson fits on both ends of the frontcourt as Maxwell's height was a problem for The Answer. Iverson did his best to keep it close early as he played all 12 minutes in the first quarter and scored 11 points. But in the 3rd quarter, things got messy for the 76ers and the Rockets would pull away. Rockets bench outscored the 76ers starters, Rockets win 101-87

The 94-95' Orlando Magic vs the 95-96' Chicago Bulls. Each reached the NBA Finals in those years. The Magic knocked off the Bulls to spoil Jordans comeback only for the Bulls to come right back the following year and win the NBA Finals. Would this Orlando team be able to beat this Bulls team the next year in this regular season matchup?

The Orlando Magic were down early in the second quarter, by as much as 12 points but were able to cut the lead to 3 right before heading to halftime. The Bulls were cruising in the second but a string of bad turnover kept the Magic in the game.

Scottie Pippen took over the game in the 3rd quarter as Michael Jordan wasn't having his best game, but that's what great players do. In the 4th quarter, Shaquille O'neal was as aggressive as it gets and the Bulls big men did not have answer. But we all know Shaq's free throw problems and although he made it to the line 12 times, he only made 5 of those. The Magic kept feeding the big man, but it was Pippen who carried the Bulls to a 106-100 victory.

Pippen simply wouldn't let them lose that game . It helped though that all of Orlando's perimeter players got locked up by the Bulls.

Everytime Pippen got the ball, you just knew it was going in. Nick Anderson and Dennis Scott are not all that great either. If it's not the three ball they ain't doing jack!
