I‘m really surprised as your stats look very legit. Which difficulty is default? Superstar?

Exactly so, Superstar feels pretty good currently - defenses are really punishing and if you go on a run, it is usually pretty rewarding. You don't go on runs just because you are better, but it actually feels like a momentum swing.

Re: Purple Kings [NBA 2k18 MyLeague]

Favors, Wiggins pen new contracts; first trade news of the season!

Things have gotten a lot busier with the season progressing, with even some of the first trades appearing for teams.

Orlando Magic have agreed on a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Orlando has sent Shooting Guard Jonathon Simmons and rookie Wesley Iwundu in exchange for Alex Abrines and Nick Collison. The main reason for this trade was the impatience of Simmons, who was not happy playing as a sixth man in a struggling Magic team. With Andre Roberson being injured currently for the Thunder, it made sense for the FO of Oklahoma to make a move for the veteran shooting guard, who was crucial in the last year's playoff run for the Spurs.

Another trade saw players moving between conferences, as the Hornets decided to trade Marvin Williams in exchange for Omer Asik and Frank Jackson of the Pelicans. The situation was similar - Anthony Davis has been out for a while with his injury, and with the Pelicans still fighting for that playoff spot, they felt that it was necessary to make a move for a Power Forward.

As for signings, two big ones that took the headlines were from two teams looking to strengthen their roster for the long-run. Andrew Wiggins signed a new, 4 year, $107.10M deal. While the scoring numbers have dropped quite a bit for him (23.6 to 15.8), his other averages have gone up, and the Wolves do see him as a fit for the team.

The other guy is the third pick from the 2010 draft, as Derrick Favors has noted a new 3 year, $38.40M deal. This one got a bit of turmoil, as some fans believe that he isn't worthy of resigning, while at the same time, Favors has looked good, with a small increase in points and rebounds this season.

Recap of this month:

Rockets re-sign SF Trevor Ariza to 3yr/$18.07M deal.
Bulls re-sign PF Nikola Mirotic to 2yr/$9.72M deal.
Timberwolves re-sign SF Andrew Wiggins to 4yr/$107.10M deal.
Jazz re-sign PF Derrick Favors to 3yr/$38.40M deal.
76ers re-sign PF Richaun Holmes to 2yr/$13.64M deal.
Spurs re-sign PG Tony Parker to 2yr/$16.26M deal.
Clippers re-sign SG Louis Williams to 3yr/$12.58M deal.
----------
Hornets trade: Marvin Williams, PF
Pelicans trade: Frank Jackson, PG / Omer Asik, C

Magic trade: Jonathon Simmons, SG / Wesley Iwundu, SF
Thunder trade: Alex Abrines, SG / Nick Collison, PF

Dame-C.J. can't get it done against the Kings
February 9, 2018

Today, it was a whole team vs a back-court.

While Damian Lillard and C.J. McCollum combined for 57 points, and gave the Kings somewhat of a headache, the rest of the team was nowhere to be found. As for Sacramento, the shooting guards were on point, as Hield and Bogdanovic were on fire from the field.

Another big difference maker was the play on the boards. The Kings had 3 players with 10+ rebounds (Randolph, Labissiere, Cauley-Stein), while the Trail Blazers only had one (Vonleh).

The Kings will face the Timberwolves in their next game, while Portland will go up against the Cavs.

A difference maker in some games can be a free-throw, a turnover here-and-there, but for this game, it was a one-man show.

No matter what the defense threw at him, Karl-Anthony Towns was completely unstoppable. The post play, the shooting touch and the rebound play - Sacramento really struggled.

As for the Kings, they really looked outplayed away from home. George Hill had a good shooting night, but rest of its team was already in "All-Star-Break" mode.

Sacramento will go on to face Mavericks, while Minnesota faces the Trail Blazers.

Re: Purple Kings [NBA 2k18 MyLeague]

I just clocked - with my overwriting my files, I completely skipped the month of January! I completely apologize, but whoever wants to know how we did in January, I will post a screenshot of our results from that month in a sec.

My bad!
