How do you plan handling players leaving early? Do you have a formula to determine which ones will leave early?

That's an interesting question... I'm not really sure. For starters, Pierce (senior), J-Rich and Randolph (like in real life) will leave, after that I guess I'm gonna randomize that too. I think I'm gonna put the limit on 4-5 players per year leaving, so the roster doesn't get blown out.

Maybe if I get a lot of trade offers for certain player(s), I could see them "leaving early" (all players leaving will see all their ratings lowered to 0 so they don't appear again).

EDIT: Just remembered Bell is also leaving, so that's 80% of my starting lineup gone; and Miami was in the Big East back then, but they are in the ACC now, small mixup. So, made a small change and Georgia Tech is in the Big East now.

Pierce was great on both sides of the ball. I didn't think he'd be as good as he is. Shame to lose so many quality players at the end of the year, especially the NBA guys we all know.

Well, I have some bad news to announce. I've been playing, a week ahead from the game against the Hoyas, and the game has started to show me different teams than the ones I've been playing and also random players.

I've been trying to find a workaround for the past few days, to no avail. I guess all the RED MC editing -- adding players, cyberfaces and also messing around with the schedule -- had to come back and haunt me at some point. I'm gonna try and investigate a little bit more, but in the meanwhile, this is dead.

I might go back to my Blazers, or start something parallel that I've been thinking of. Any preferences?

What kinds of things are you thinking of? Is this all 2K12 based, something else?

Either going back to my Blazers, which I really enjoyed (2K12), or since Role mentioned it days ago, a Kobe story in Philadelphia (2K14). I bought 2K20 on sale last week, but I feel I must understand it a little bit more before I start something.

I last played 2K16 and the ramp to 2K20 was tough. RetroD43's sliders (combined with some other sim sliders) helped a lot to make the game feel more like 2K16 and less "sucked into a gravity well" animations.
