Suns had no chance, AT ALL. Congrats on another Finals berth!

The Jevon Boston situation seems like a mess. Woof.

After great round two series, the conference finals were really disappointing. Hopefully the Finals are better.

How does Big Oklahoma Russell Kingston factor into your rotation (I seem to recall you trading for him)?

Will Hunter guard Rolle, or will Orlando put a different player on him?

Russ gets some run for us, but I like Harrell as a switch five for us more, and Kingston is kinda bad at rebounding - we’ll call it youthful inexperience compared to Harrell - so I swapped them in the rotation last season. He plays about 14-16 minutes a game but between Harrell starting and Kuminga as our closing five he doesn’t get a ton of playing time.

The conference finals really disappointed me. I was hoping the Suns series would be tougher, Cleaves just became a shell of himself and JK went nuts. After the first quarter of game 1 I thought we might lose, and that was the only full game I played in the series. Then we wouldn’t miss 3s despite me lowering the sliders and boom, it was over. Breaking the fourth wall with that, but still. Just was a let down.

Fingers crossed for the Finals, but Hunter and Rolle should matchup with one another. Their duels last season was some of the best games I’ve played in 2K, but that was on 2k21 so we’ll see what 2k23 gives us.

Beautiful draft preview. It seems like a really deep draft. If we can actually get 25 starters out of a single draft, that would be wild. Hard to imagine anyone but Kennard going #1 overall. Even if he wasn't ranked #1, that size + athleticism and big program pedigree is hard to pass up.

Sampson and Rolle could be surprising prospects as they come from less competitive colleges/smaller programs and you never know if you are getting a Dame Lillard or a Michael Olowokandi with those picks.

The class is made by the great JeffRuel, and he was gracious enough to offer his time on putting these dudes into tiers for the purpose of the post. Excited to finally be playing with one of his classes, and he put some time into a couple future posts as well. Been a lot of fun.
