Madden 10 Online Franchise (NFC Only)

Quick Overview
I want to run a long time league with minimal drop outs. So I want people that signup to be here for the FUN of being in a online franchise with other liked minded guys. We want realism in your playstyle. We are here to have a good time. So pick a NFC team, kick back, grab a beer and some chips and lets kick back and enjoy ourselves.

Preseason/In-Season Free Agency

Waiver wire priority list. This will be based strictly on each team's overall rating. Lowest will be first, 2nd lowest will be 2nd, etc.

Each subsequent season beginning waiver priority list order will be based on the previous season's win/loss percentage. Worst is first, etc.

The waiver list will not reset each franchise week. Once a team makes a successful claim, they go to the bottom of the list.

Waiver claims should be submitted to me via PM here on OS or through e-mail which is listed on the league website.

When submitting a waiver claim, please indicate which player you'd like to drop, if your roster is full. If you've played Fantasy Football, you'll know how this goes. If your roster is full and you don't give me a player to release, your claim will not go through.

Claim should include
1 - Dropped player
1 - Free Agent Request

Each Day I review my inbox and give bids away as such.

Trades

There will be no trade approval process. You're all adults. I trust you. If two teams agree to a trade, then the trade goes through, no questions asked.

NO TRADES with CPU teams
Draft picks WILL NOT be trade able.

We will observe the real life NFL's trading deadline of Week 6. No trades may be made after Week 6's games have been played.

Offseason Free Agency

At the end of each season, each team will be required to release players according to the following:

• 1 90+ overall rated player
• 2 80-89 overall rated players
• 4 70-79 overall rated players

In the event a team does not have any 90+ rated players, that team will then release an additional 80-89 overall rated player.

At that point, we will conduct a 7 round free agent draft. The free agent draft order will mimic the NFL Draft order of that same season, but with a twist. We'll be doing the free agency draft snake style. Again, if you've done Fantasy Football, you'll know how this goes

GAME TIME

• 12 minute quarters, using the 15-second playclock runoff

I just want everyone to understand a route we are going to go as far as gameplay time. We are going to use the 12 minute quarters, using the 15-second playclock runoff. Now what this does is leave 15 secs on the play clock once you are walking up to the line. Now some people are going to have to adjust to this. Reason being is that you won't have time to do all kinds of hot routes, adjustments, motions, etc. What this will do is focus everyone MUCH more on playing calling from the play call screen.

Scores are still coming out realistic and the amount of plays is still slightly lower than normal. But what I want to try and prevent is given people to much time at the line to call all kinds of hot routes, motions, etc to take advantage of. It is Cheesy, because a real team does 1 adjustment at the line with having time for 2 being max.

We want this to FEEL like real football. This is what this will simulate, focus on play calling. I know all my APF heads in here (Looking at u Kasey) are really going to dig this. If guys need help on play calling just hit me up. I mainly tend to focus on defense but I also know my way around the offense.
