NOTE:: i did not write this post, this is a friend who recently bought Madden yesterday after beleiving the hype. this is what he thinks
I'm sorry to say this to all the madden faithfuls, but Madden 10 is not the best football game, LOL..every one has posted their thoughts and the critics has spoken. if you really beleive those are the best football graphics then something is really wrong with y'all...if you think the gameplay is spectacular then please go jerk yaself!! if you think the presentation is the best even though it says ESPN on it, then keep watching ESPN football games on TV and compare it to Maddens presentation. i can't beleive how bland this game is, man..
. the computer runs on the white line a lot and they rule him inbounds, the fumble recory is like playing Dragonball Z:Budokai, and they made certain player look ugly! if u look @ the players without their helmets, since when does Chad Pennington have long hair? when did drew Brees look like fred flinstone? when did Chris Johnson look like a Ninja Turtle? and i KNOW that is not Brett Favre and Vick looking ridiculous. and how come when i score a touch down with the jets i dont hear the JETS chant? what happen to the Vikings blowing their horns after getting first downs?...damn man..they say you see everything you see on sunday is in the game..and you dont even see the big *** TV Screens in the dallas cowboys new stadium...Presentation? fail. Graphics? Fail. Sound? Fail. Controls? they're still Madden. if anyone wants to buy my copy of madden and get sucked into thinking this is the best game everthen be my guest..i'm selling it for $15 dollars lol!!
if i had a camera to show you his frustration it would be controversial..but seriously folks...be careful into beleiving the media EA brings to you..

yes..now im doing the same for NBALIVE 10..i just saw the new gameplay for it..and it s suffering tha same thing...**patiently waiting on 2k** lol

yeah and this is pertaining to madden not live. on live they make drASTIC CHANGES EVERY YEAR GOOD OR BAD THE CHANGES ARE MADE.... Madden however suffers from feature pushing and they never work on the core gameplay. which should i believe start with blocking, then offensive and defensive awareness as far as where the ball is located. because the cpu will be following another player then turn and run to the ball when they didnt even see it which is unrealistic. and the holding on field goals is ridiculous, and i'm not even going to get into the online glitches or unobtainable squib kick so on and so forth.

What you're doing with that 360 in the pic is illegal in several states.
Anyway, you have some valid points. The presentation, which EA bragged about, is lacking big-time. There are some frustrating gameplay flaws, but it remains to be seen how many can be remedied with the patches. I disagree about the graphics not being good. This is easily the best-looking football video game ever made. It's not even close. I think most sensible individuals would agree with that. And that's what makes this game so frustrating right now. The looks continues to drag me in, but the flaws fluster me. That's why I'm really hoping they work some magic with the patches. Because if they do, they've got a terrific title on their hands. And tell your friend to study harder in school, master the English language, before logging many more hours playing video games. |

He's right. Meh-den NFL 10 is a solid title, but at the same time it is extremely overrated. This game was hyped as the end all be all, but its anything but. I've put in over 25 hours of gameplay, but its still the same exhausted game engine, with limited features. Replay value is high in multi-player, online, or franchise. Outside of that, coupled with a pedestrian presentational upgrade, the non die hard fan will resell this game in 6 weeks. I give the game a 6.5

I have both systems and both have good points and both have bad. By you saying that PS3 is much better you are simply naive. First more often than not, games are created on 360 and ported onto PS3 making the game play a little better on 360. Second, if you like online play, go with the 360 (better communications channels, less lag, more options). PS3 has blu ray player and some really good exclusive games but it is no better than 360. Both good systems.
