This is why punch frequency slider needs to be added for offline play.

Fight night champion had that and also we could edit individual fighter's tendencies in punch frequency, type of punches, how aggressive, etc. That would be so beneficial for offline gameplay if it were in Undisputed.

I'm glad that the out of the box cpu ai is tuned quite well already, but it's not perfect. Try playing devonta wilder on 1 time scale, he will be gassed and in flat foot mode by round 5.

the 3 sliders you need are:

damage slider
stamina slider
punch frequency

Undisputed has 2 of 3.

Need one more to take offline tuning and its gameplay to another level.
Here is a little “pro tip”
If you want a clean online fight ( PS5 ) try out using SharePlay. You start a party, invite your opponent to tue party, initiate SharePlay. Give your opponent a virtual controller and boom!
Now you guys are playing local, but it’s online. Make sure you have a wired connection to your system for best results. No more phantom punches and all that other weirdness.

SharePlay is definitely the way to go here. Hard to do with randoms I know, but there are some great leagues out there now that use this system. True Sim Boxing League is one of those leagues

Intermediate level.

Automatic knockdown get ups.

1 time scale

12-15 round bouts.

Man I really love the strategy and matchups really really matter.

A perfect example is a fight I just finished. I am running a Heavyweight tournament in Quick Fight mode (keeping track of the brackets I made in my old spiral notebook lol).

Roy Jones Jr who we all know is not a legit heavyweight in the least bit vs Deonte Wilder who is a mammoth of a man.

He cut me early and had me on the canvas a few times…..but I grinded and grinded and waited Wilder out and he got really tired and by the 8th round I had him in a lot of trouble….but simply was not strong enough to put him away.

He finally finished me in the 9th with a knockout…..but what a valiant effort. I managed to cut him pretty good as well and I gave him a fight.

This game is bad *** and I look forward to the December update. So glad zi finally picked it up.
Here are my settings that I have changed:

Difficulty:
Intermediate or Pro

3 knock down rule: Yes

Saved by the bell: Last round only

Damage multiplier: 1.5x

Stamina multiplier: 0.5x

I absolutely do my best to mimic the boxer I am using and use power punches sparingly. If I'm not familiar with the boxer I am using, I watch a few of there bouts on YouTube.

Still enjoying the game very much and I hope you all are too.

Re: Undisputed Deluxe WBC Edition Launches Today - Post Your Impressions

I just picked up this game up because of reading this thread and getting an understanding of why the reviews are bad. IE "the game sucks because it is realistic. I can't win.", hardly seems a reason to NOT buy it. I think the rating was only 2.5 stars on the PS Store. Wow, that is underserved.

I haven't messed with settings yet. I simply made an 18 year old fighter and started a game on intermediate (hopefully graduate to Pro in time). I figure the best way to learn is to get an a** whipping. I had a blast on day one getting through the tutorial, a tournament set up by my trainer (won one, lost one), and my first pro fight (won by unanimous decision). The fight itself was a blast, and while I thought controlling my stamina would take time to learn, it actually came quite easy while feeling totally natural.

I like the training and how it is set up. There are some strategic choices that need to be made. It was fun and not tedious. My only concern is with time does one find a formula that "always" works? My guess is there seems to be so much depth to the ratings/skills of the fighters and they are enough of an individual that this won't be the case?

While I'm here I do have one question, are you guys using the automatic knockdown get ups, or the manual get up mini game? I did my first three fights using the mini game (I was never knocked down), but almost think I should go to auto. Any thoughts would be appreciated?

I use automatic get up. I can’t with that mini game. Game feels much better lately as far as punch tracking imo. I tried going back to FNC just to feel it again when the punch tracking was really frustrating me and I didn’t even last a whole match the movements felt so much more arcade compared to Undisputed’s fluidity and physics of motion.

And yeah if you’re doing Quick Fight I feel 0.5 is the best stamina slider setting.

Thanks for the reply. I already made the switch to auto get up . It's more "sim" and losing because you can't win the mini game sucks. lol. If my fighter can't get up based on the underlying skills, stats, mechanics.. so be it.

After winning my first pro fight I've been taking my "learn the game whipping" with a record of 1-3-1. Two of the three losses I felt should be at least a draw, with one a possible win. That I believe is just wishful thinking. What is actually happening is the game is telling me I need to get out of video game mode and learn to box better.
