Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread

I've decided I'm going back to the way I used to do NCAA sliders - CPU vs. CPU.

Set sliders, watch matches, set them so that CPU vs. CPU is as realistic as possible.

For punch output, I'm gonna have to see a better mix of fighters - 50 is WAY too low for alot of guys fighting right now.

Re: Official Slider Discussion Thread

Ultimate SIM slider sets. Whats your outlook?

1. Ref foul awareness--default..I foul a bit in grudge match.

2. Ref Damage aware--Maxed out...fight stoppages would be col

3. Boxer power---------All the way up.Make for a defensive

4. Boxer speed---------Prob default...Is this punch and foot seed?

5. Physical damage----keep default because Ref damage awarness is all the way up

6. Boxer toughness----Maxed out because power is maxed

7. CPU off/def aware--Def maxed up...Off prob default...This is because punch power will be up so high..want to make hard clean punches count...one punch KO/Chess Match

8. CPU punch output---With power so high you probably want this down a bit

Set Rounds at 2min....More distance fights

Anyone who has the game already came up with some good sliders for the Legacy?....Hoping to have setting where one punch can change or end fight but still have fights go the distance

Why increase both BOXER POWER and BOXER TOUGHNESS? Kind of defeats the purpose huh? I could see experimenting with different combinations of them.

True that....I think that toughness would be kept at default....Just not sure how much the power will make the computer gun shy about getting hit....Hope that power makes the computer more cautious

50 is pretty spot on for a globle average(you shoukd see less than and more more 50) 75 per round should be the max altho...

Calaghe(spell check) is one guy who throws the most punches per round today and he average about 84 per...

Im shooting for 65 thrown on average/ 35% landed on average

That sounds about right. All I'm suggesting is that you'll want to see it with multiple fighters. 50 punches per round, for example, is a little more than half of Paul Williams' average output.

man, I cant wait untill I get off work to get this game...Im thinking about all the possibilies with adjustments made....

Judging from the demo, you can actually have a realistic punch count from the cpu if you box mainly from the outside....but I dont want the cpu spaming body shoots when im inside, Watching the Cotto/Clottey fight- those guys were sizing each other up when they basically were forehead to forehead...cant what!!!
