Atlanta Falcons Dynasty (NFL HC 09)

Instead of just criticising everyone elses i thought id give it a trundle.

As a Patriots fan ive done a few Pats dynastys and i also rebuilt the Lions from pre draft.

I wanted a team firstly that nobody else is doing atm with no set QB or RB and also the challenge of playing the prenially strong Bucs twice a year was enticing, so ive chosen the Falcons.

I will be starting pre draft

Using a slightly alter Patriots offensive playbook and my own defensive playbook that has 4-3, 3-4, Nickle, Nickle 3-3-5, Nickle 2-4-5, Nickle 1-5-5, Dime , Dime 3-2-6, 4-4, 4-2-5, Prevent and probably a couple formations ive missed.

I like a 60-40 Pass-Run split if possible. Looking for 30 passes for 300 yards and 20 runs for 100 yards per game as my optimum.

I like to blitz a lot to force turnovers, a mix of zone and man d

Philosophys

Field General QB
Balanced or Workhorse RB (Still Undecided)
Balanced FB
Balanced WR
Balanced TE
Balanced OL
3-4 DE
3-4 DT
3-4 OLB
3-4 MLB
Balanced CB
Balanced FS
Balanced SS

And ill be playing regular season and simming preseason games
Calling both offense and defence

Ive done both the Jones and Sweetney draft paths so ill probably go for the Zazzali path this time.

So ill post stuff when it happens
Enjoy i hope

*Edit* Added a couple more details

Yeah me too. It will be interesting to see what he can do with the Falcons. I thought they had a decent HB though?
Just don't take Andre Woodson.
Maybe try Brian Brohm or Alex Brink.
My guess for your #1 pick is: Keith Rivers.

Well, they lost Warrick Dunn in free agency and signed Michael Turner who played really good. IDK how good he is in this game though.

And yeah, definately not Andre Woodson. Take Matt Ryan.

My take on Matt Ryan is he is good, but there is better in the 2nd year that make passing on a C. Long or J. Long hard to do.

About time BTW Sanchez...lol

All they have predraft is Jerius Norwood, whos a scat back
And aww but i like using Woodson!
Ill probably go with Brink then
Never had Rivers before, wouldnt take him at 3 though. Would trade down first

Would rather Calais Cambell over C Long but J Long is a possibility
