Re: Bringing Back the Run and Shoot-A Titans Dynasty

2008 Season-Game 12-Titans at Lions

I first realized I had a serious problem with the deep passing game in this game. A backup QB like Jon Kitna(with 78 THP, no less) put up nearly 450 yards of offense against my corners. I kept seein g the same thing-Kitna would throw a long pass, my corner would miss the tackle, and the WR would take it to the house. It didn't matter much in this game, as I scored enough for it not to matter in a 62-37 win.

Coach upgrades-QBC-Performance 3, DLC-Performance-4, DC-Lrn Dev DB4.

Injuries-C Kevin Mawae-Triceps Strain-4-5 weeks-placed on IR.

Re: Bringing Back the Run and Shoot-A Titans Dynasty

2008 Season-Game 13-Titans at Browns

How do you blow a 21 point lead in the 2 minute drill? Somehow, it happened to me this game thanks to another long pass, a recovered onside kick, and a bit of bad luck. It didn't matter in the long run, as I beat the Browns in overtime with a 37-31 OT win. Patrick Willis was named Defensive Player of the Week.

Coach upgrades-OC-Performance 4, STC-Performance 2.

Retirements-QB Trent Green-Falcons and P Mitch-Berger-Vikings both announced they would retire after the 2008 season.

Re: Bringing Back the Run and Shoot-A Titans Dynasty

2008 Season-Game 14-Titans at Texans

The Houston Texans had a very simple game plan, and it almost worked-Outside Run to the left, Outside Run to the right, Outside Run all over the field. My defense gave up over 250 yds rushing to Ahman Green in this game, almost more than I'd given up the rest of the year. The only things that prevented me from losing this game were QB Matt Schaub, who threw 3 INTs(including 2 returned for TDs) and Rob Bironas' 6 FG. I beat the Texans 32-27.

Coach upgrades-RBC-Performance 4, WRC-TE Phys Dev TE2, OLC-Phys Dev OL 4, and LBC-Speed Training.

Injuries-TE Bo Scaife-sprained MCL-3-4 weeks.

Retirements-QB Jeff Garcia-Bucs has announced he will retire after the 2008 season.

Notes-Florida OC Chris Staymates is rumored to be leaving school for the NFL.

Re: Bringing Back the Run and Shoot-A Titans Dynasty

I decided after the Steelers game to supersim both the last regular season game and the wild card game against the Bengals, which I lost. The main reason is I wanted to really upgrade my coaching staff (especially my GM), and give my former position coaches a chance to shine with other teams.

Game 15-Titans 34, Steelers 7
Game 16- 27-10 supersim loss to the Colts
Wild Card game- 24-21 sim loss to the Bengals.

Final Regular Season Standing is next.

Damn, how did you get such a good running game (for the most part) going? haha

I mainly used Ebongreen's most recent slider set, except I moved Defensive Awareness from 40 to 30.
