2008 Season-Game 16-Texans 50, Bears 10

I'd have to guess the Bears would probably be likely to draft Zazzali next time-Flacco didn't work out. Leftwich had some ugly numbers-3 TDs and 24 INTs, but he did ok in this game. We finished the season 12-4 and will face the Chargers in the wild card game. One big injury-Andre Johnson cracked his leg bone and will miss the playoffs.

CU-OC-Lrn Dev-WR 2, DC-Improved Press, STC-Int Dev K 4, WRC-Receiver Discipline.

Inj-WR Andre Johnson-cracked leg bone-5-8 weeks, placed on IR.

2008 Final Regular Season Standings

The Colts went undefeated in the regular season, and the AFC South was very tough this year. I felt bad for the 9-7 Titans, who finished 4th in that division, odd team out. You had to win 12 games to make the playoffs in the NFC, leaving the 11-5 Eagles out in the cold. Playoffs team with asterisks, chart below.

Re: The Coaching Career of Robert Smith

2009 Wild Card Game-Chargers 30, Texans 27

There were just too many mistakes in the 2nd half. I pulled Woodson after his third INT; then Schaub comes in and throws one on his only pass to kill any comeback. To make things worse, approval dropped to 50 after the game and to 35 after the coaching changes. I was kept on, but I really need to get Charisma next year.I'll do all the coaching changes in a separate post.

Other Wild Card Games:

Browns 21, Jaguars 20
Giants 31, Cowboys 30
Saints 27, Vikings 24
