On paper Florida should finally win this thing, but it's Omaha. We don't know what we're going to get.

Jim Morris logic is starting your 3rd best pitcher in game 1 of the CWS. Great start too.

Pretty disappointing start to the CWS. Mediavilla singlehandedly lost this game.

Damn, I was rooting for Michaelangeli to get the sombrero. Couldn't happen to a better person.

1) Mediavilla was awful. They had score a run before a ball was put into play besides the sac bunt. You can't start a game off walking 2 and hitting 2 other batters in the first 5 at bats.

2) The umpire was calling the 1st base side poorly and Arizona learned to adjust for it, Miami did not. By the 2nd time through the lineup the players should've know to swing at anything within inches of the black on that side, but they never did which is why they got caught looking 8 times.

So this was definitely a year for the national seed teams.

This has turned out to be a disappointing trip. If they go 0-2 then this was a disappointing year for the most part.
