I still don't think it was so much their inability to shoot the 3 as their insistence on shooting it.

Yea, it boggles my mind why we continued to shoot them, even though we couldn't hit the side of the barn. It never was a strength for us.

One of those dangerous in-betweens where almost every kid on UK is good enough at shooting 3's (or at least thinks they are) to take one every time they're open.

Which is one thing Cal probabaly shouldn't of preached, he always told Miller,Dodson,Liggins, Bledsoe, etc... to shoot it with confidence if your wide open, unfortunately these guys weren;t even consistent enough to drop one wide open.

Playground game mentality.

Under Jeff Lebo, Auburn would chuck up 20+ 3's every game, and they'd make about 5 or 6 of them usually.

Can't have that many one and done possessions.

Yea, but we never played that style the whole year, We didn't chuck threes like Auburn and Miss St, that was really there only chance, play uptempo and shoot 3's. I wonder if we fell in love with it, when we shot a ridiculous percentage againt Wake and ETSU.
