So tell me about Lance Thompson fellas. I see he was Rivals recruiter of the year last year so I know he can recruit but how is he as a position coach? A good LB coach is needed here in Knoxville

He is known more for his recruiting than his coaching. Saban will find a suitable replacement.

Named the starter before spring drills, and fall training camp? Named the starter after the production that Coffee had in 08? Don't you think that is a bit absurd? Sure there is going to be some great competition at running back this season, but Coffee would have been my favorite to start in 09. If Ingram improves I'm sure Coffee's carries would have decreased, but he probably would still be #1 on the depth chart. Saban isn't just going to appoint someone a starter...they've got to work, and earn it!
