This is simply not the type of game Michigan is ready to play at this point. No elite playmakers on the outside on offense, too many questions in the trenches on defense. Alabama will be able to load up the box and stop Denard and whoever is at RB, and Roundtree/Gallon/whoever else at WR isn't good enough to beat their corners one on one. That will cause the offense to sputter, which will put more strain on the defense, which will only be able to hold up for so long against Alabama's OL and running attack.
For the most part I agree with you, but part of me is still holding out hope that Hoke will poop some rainbows and Michigan will win.

Yeah, I think we're just going to get slapped around on both sides of the line. Not a good thing.

You guys are discounting Devin Gardner's 8-catch, 237-yard and 7-touchdown debut as a wide receiver.

I do think we are at a huge disadvantage. But I think Bama has question marks at defense that can lead to some scoring. We definitely aren't as good as we are going to be in a few years, but I think we can pull an upset. Then again, I won't be surprised if we get whooped also.

Beatdown in progress at Cowboy Stadium. I hope Denard's accuracy isn't this bad all season.

Re: 2012 Michigan Football: Team 133

Lewan was apparently asking to go back in, so his injury probably isn't that bad.

Countess's is apparently not an ACL, sounds like an MCL sprain.

Thank you so much David Brandon for scheduling a game against a team full of freaks when you KNEW Rich Rod was a dead man walking and you'd be hitting the reset button on the entire program. Arrogant SOB set the team up for a slaughter.

With Countess I don't think we'll know until he gets the MRI.

Meh on scheduling Bama. I would hate to ever be like Florida and play ten games in your home state. I'm more disappointed that it wasn't a home and home and we only have six games to watch in the Big House this year.
