2022 BCS Rankings

Yes, we're back.

With the conclusion of Week 4 (or Week 5 depending on how you count), it is time to bust out the Excel spreadsheet for some old-school BCS rankings.

I'll be calculating using the BCS formula as it was the final season it was used. I'll be using the AP and the USA Today Coaches Poll and the six computer rankings (Sagarin, Massey, Billingsley, Colley, Wolfe, and Anderson).

(Note: Wolfe (October 16th) and Anderson (usually end of October) are unavailable at this time. I will be averaging the four available ratings to make up the computer average aspect of the formula. Once the Wolfe rankings release, I will be dropping a team's highest computer rating. Once all six are available, I will drop the highest and lowest computer ratings).

Also, I will be offering three playoff formats...the current four-team format, the proposed 12-team format, and my hypothetical FCS-inspired 24-team format.
