Primetime. What a game. Shedeur looked like an NFL quarterback. The footwork, the accuracy, the poise. Travis Hunter is a baller. They will be fun to watch this season.

It wasn't even that hard. TCU is in trouble this year and falling off the cliff.

I don't think this means CU is going to be good but .500 definitely looks to be reachable which will be great for them.

I said it when Deion was hired, but I’m all for Colorado being relevant.

Same. Rooting for CU in every game.

1, I love the heart of his players and man, they have some gamers, particularly outside of the ones we knew about (Sanders and Hunter);

2, I love Prime’s style/approach and how salty other coaches, analysts, etc., were.

I bet Sonny’s message to his team was the disrespect of all the attention hyping Prime and limited talk about the a team that played in the natty…and they still lost.

Agree with this. I thought coming into the year CU wins around 4. They look better than expected and I could see them trying for 6 wins this year.

TCU also looked very poorly coached and Briles is clearly 10 steps down from Riley which isn't that surprising. TCU will not be nearly as good as they were last year. Obviously one game doesn't show you everything about a team, but I can't see TCU winning more than 8 at best if they play all year like they did today. Their DL looks awful for a P5 team.

Re: Week 1 Discussion

Oklahoma with their biggest season opening win in 106 years.

That year, in 1917, they beat (current D2 school) Central Oklahoma 90-0.

Re: Week 1 Discussion

Also rooting for Colorado. Like seeing irrelevant teams having a turnaround.

Colorado seemed like the better coached team. Colorado dictated the pace of the game. It took TCU too long to go away from the pass heavy up tempo offense to establishing the run. Colorado gifted them 21 points with the 2 turnovers and long kick return.

Colorado has to sure up that run defense. If I'm an opposing team, I'm running it until they show they can stop it and playing the T.O.P game. But, I can see Colorado starting out 3-0 before the schedule gets really tough and come down to Earth. If they can make a bowl game, that's enough of a proof of concept for the future. The new Big 12 is completely up for grabs.

I don't think Hunter playing 100+ snaps us sustainable though. But if Hunter keeps playing like this, I can definitely see him being on the cover of the CFB game lol
