Re: Conference Championship Discussion

FSU fans will be hot if Georgia gets a bye a year after their undefeated team gets left out.

This assuming Beck can’t play in the playoff.

Texas deserved to lose that game. And Ewers got outplayed by a guy who couldn’t complete a pass more than 3 air yards. Lol.

They beat TxA&M and that is it. If you knock SMU down, UT should be right there with them.

There's not much of an if. Georgia's not going to plummet all the way down below Boise State and Arizona State.

Yeah, if we had an expanded playoff like last year then FSU wouldn't have been left out. Too many spots to fill regardless of the QB situation.

Now, if we had last year's playoff and UGA just knocked Texas out of the top 4. That would have been so much sweeter.

I guess so because of SEC/brand, but if Clemson wins, they’ll definitely be nervous.

What about if Penn St loses, too? If Texas and SMU get punished for playing a weak schedule and losing their conference title game, then Penn St should too.

Right, I’m not saying they’d be left out - just we know Georgia won’t be punished for losing their starting QB (as shaky as their backup looked) like FSU was.

Nuisances aside.
