Why must you mention that you're banned from here or there (Auburn boards, campus, nursing homes) in every other post? It just comes across as that.

I'm pumped for the 2009 season already. I hope Andre stays, but he's better off leaving. And I'll be thrilled to see Jackson and McElroy firing back and forth at the A-Day game.

Re: 2008 Alabama Crimson Tide

Terrence Cody just announced on Facebook that he's going pro next year. I hope he's kidding.

All anyone had to do was get on his phone and put that in. No way that is how it would first get out.

I don't know how many times I've gone on facebook and someone's status said they were masturbating or beatin' it, or something like that.

I'll be thrilled if that's what happened. But I doubt it. Most recent...

Terrence is laughing at the selfishness of some people!!!!

We can still hope, eh?

By the way, I have a class with Cody (er, had, as finals were last week), and have spoken to him about in-class projects, seeing as he's rarely there. I have him as a Facebook friend, yes. Facebook has the status updates system that tells you your friends' most recent status updates. I noticed it there. What's so weird/creepy about that?

Jeez.

Oh, and...

University of Alabama junior left tackle Andre Smith confirmed to reporters Thursday that he has requested a projection from the NFL advisory committee on where he could expect to be selected in the 2009 Draft.

Smith, the Outland Trophy winner for best interior lineman, is projected by many to be a top-five pick should he declare himself eligible.

The advisory committee will return a draft round grade to each third-year player who requests one, usually within two weeks.

The deadline for submitting a request is Friday, although they may be filed as late as Jan. 4 without the guarantee of reply. The deadline for underclassmen to declare their eligibility is Jan.15.

Also, Nick Saban said during a press conference that junior running back Roy Upchurch will not play in the Sugar Bowl after surgery to correct a neck injury.

They've also noted that Cody announced today that he's staying for his senior year.

I truthfully didn't expect that there was anyway you actually had relations with the guy.

Mah bad.
