Alabama fans, how do you all view Mario Cristobal. I don't want the guy at Miami at all, but everyone in the media loves linking him to the job. It seems like the offensive line under him has been nothing special, but maybe I'm just wrong.

Yeah, let's not pretend like only Auburn fans predicted us to do something significant this year. I'm always pessimistic and the one year I actually thought we would be a legitimate contender we fail miserably. Jeremy Johnson's hype came with reason. Every time we saw him he looked phenomenal and with the tools, size, etc. he has it's insane that even Malzahn who set Chris Todd up for success couldn't make it work with Jeremy. There's just not something not clicking in dudes head..

Really hope it's not life threatening. It's obviously serious of he's retiring mid-season.

Jerry's a great man, and the University, as a whole, will be worse off without him.
I'm such a schmuck my first thought was "of course he's retiring before the Michigan game, now they'll all rally together and kick our *** in his honor".

My horrible person-ness aside, that really blows, there was a time way back where I was bringing his name up as a Michigan candidate (I remember him doing awesome things for Saginaw Valley).

From a non football standpoint, hopefully he can regain health and live happy, he's one of the guys I've always respected
